Showcasing early collaborations with MIKE and Earl Sweatshirt, up-and-coming rapper Niontay has undeniably gained attention as an artist to keep tabs on within the underground scene. If there was any doubt before the launch of his second studio album, “Fada<3of$“, it’s now crystal clear that this statement rings true.
The unique and limited assortment of 19 tracks on Fada<3of$ were drawn from the rapper’s summer journey to London in 2024, resulting in a captivatingly abstract yet confident, genre-bending compilation of tunes.

Niontay self-created the whole album, with significant input from his tight-knit artistic group, which includes Tony Seltzer, DJ Blackpower, SURF GANG, Mavi, El Cousteau, Sideshow, and Jadasea.

Niontay revealed in a press statement that the original title of the album was “2009”, as this was the year when he lost his beloved one. This event significantly transformed his life, he added.
Just as this album does, I aim to express these feelings in a more uplifting manner. Although death is unfortunate, we should find ways to honor it by celebrating life and sending our loved ones off with love. This is precisely what my music aims to do – continue enjoying life while upholding the memory and legacy of my deceased relative.
He emphasized, “I’ll ensure my folks are well-accomplished. My distant descendants – great-great-great grandchildren – will learn about me, understand the deeds of their ancestor, and appreciate why they enjoy the lifestyle they do. I aspire to be a trailblazer, not just for those in my community, but for anyone I hold dear.
