Macaluso remained married to Belfort until their separation in 2005. Although her name was altered for the film, Macaluso collaborated with Margot Robbie and her dialect coach to refine her accent for The Wolf of Wall Street. It’s worth noting that during filming, Robbie was 22 years old, which is a rare case where the actress’s age mirrors her real-life counterpart.
