Fans Are Shocked by The Last of Us’ Brutal Scene Echoing Breaking Bad’s Most Shocking Moment!

Many fans were taken aback to learn that the new season of “The Last of Us” would begin so soon. In episode 2, she seeks vengeance on the man who murdered her father in Utah, in a gruesome and intense scene. Regardless of how much time has elapsed, she harbors no forgiveness for Joel, as he was responsible for what happened to her father at the Fireflies’ compound.

In a nutshell, the doctor was making an effort to save the world, but Joel found himself in a difficult ethical dilemma because he wouldn’t allow the doctor to harm or cause pain to anyone. Remarkably, as viewers debated this emotional turmoil on the internet, some drew comparisons between this tragic scene and the brutal demise of Hank, Walter’s brother-in-law, from AMC’s Breaking Bad.

In the final season of “Breaking Bad,” during the episode titled “Ozymandias,” a harrowing situation unfolded for me. I was part of a group that included Todd, Uncle Jack, and the Neo-Nazis. We had ventured out into the desert to save my partner Walt, who had been apprehended by Jesse, Hank, and Steve – DEA agents and my brother-in-law – following a drug bust.

In a chilling turn of events, they took Steve’s life and pointed a gun at Hank’s head. In a desperate attempt to save his life, Walt pleaded with Uncle Jack, even offering him millions hidden in the arid landscape. However, Hank refused any involvement in this deal.

In simpler terms, Hank made it clear to Jack that he would never beg for his life from a criminal because of his strong moral principles. He told Walt that Jack had already decided his fate 10 minutes earlier. Even though he wouldn’t back down or show fear, the moment Hank looked at Jack, his death was sealed. Essentially, once Jack found out that Hank was with the DEA, it was as good as over for Hank. Jack shot him dead to drive home the point.

Pedro Pascal’s character, Joel, recognizes that when Abby brings up her father in the winter lodge, his days are numbered, but he refuses to plead for his life. Instead, he cuts off her words, showing no interest in her triumphant gloating. All he wants is for her to finish what she’s started. Regrettably for Joel, Abby prolongs his torment before ending his life. However, much like Hank, these two heroes faced their ends knowing they never wavered from their principles. They both left their shows with their honor and fortitude unscathed.

During questioning, Walter found himself handcuffed. Just when Jack fired a shot at Hank, Walter dropped to the ground, clearly in agony. Though the show silenced his cries, his face conveyed the pain. Their relationship was strained especially after Hank discovered Walter’s hidden life. Yet, this unfortunate event wasn’t what Walter had ever desired.

In the end, driven by guilt over his methamphetamine pursuit which had torn his family apart, Walt ultimately decided to make the ultimate sacrifice. He sought revenge, killing Todd’s crew and liberating Jesse from their captivity. His actions unleashed his guilt, but it cost him his life.

Ellie finds herself in a heart-wrenching situation as she witnesses Joel’s brutal demise. She screams and feels remorse for their past disagreement, particularly because he deceived her about killing the Fireflies to save her and prevent any further search for a cure. Much like Walter White, Ellie lies there, self-blaming. If only she had been truthful or made efforts to mend their relationship, Joel might still be alive. Eventually, Manny, an ally of Abby, assaults Ellie, leaving her battered and bruised on the floor, much like how Walter was left: emotionally and physically shattered, with vengeance in her heart.
