If it suits them, there should be no issue. However, I’ve often had the concern that my son might someday look at me and express, “Both you and Dad didn’t shield me adequately; I don’t desire this.”

If they’re okay with it, that’s fine. But I always worry that one day my son might tell me he doesn’t want what we have chosen for him because we didn’t protect him enough from it.
