MAFS Star Dave Hand Shocks Fans by Joining The Block Renovation Crew!

Previously featured contestant from “Married At First Sight,” Dave Hand, was recently seen filming on the set of “The Block” in Daylesford, not long after his relationship with Jamie Marinos unfolded on screen.

A tradesman from Melbourne, aged 36, is back at work following his employment on a popular home renovation show, an opportunity that came about through a fortuitous message from a fellow worker in the construction industry.

In casual language, Dave shared with the Herald Sun that a tiler reached out to him unexpectedly on his professional account, asking if he was available for work. Dave replied, “Sure thing, no hassle at all… But will they mind it’s me?” To which the tiler responded, “Who are you?

‘I said I had just come off MAFS and he said, “I don’t watch it.”.’

Dave mentioned that coming back to the filming location of the Channel Nine reality television program was an intensely emotional event for him.

Upon arriving at the location, I found myself surrounded by my fellow Married At First Sight producers. The sight of them brought a tear to my eye, it felt like an emotional reunion. They inquired about my presence, and I responded, “I’ve come to work.” – Dave explained.

Dave posted a touching picture on social media featuring him wearing a safety vest, standing next to Dan Reilly and Adrian Cursio, who are known as the foremen from The Block.

He informed Yahoo Lifestyle that although he won’t appear in the current season of The Block, he hasn’t definitively said no to appearing in the future.

He’s got other priorities at the moment, but he did mention that being on “The Block” sounds fun, he added with a chuckle.

It comes after Dave broke his silence on whether he would start an OnlyFans page.

Recently, the builder held a question-and-answer session on social media where someone inquired whether he might establish a membership platform for adults.

Dave was firm on his answer: ‘I thought about it, but decided not to do it sorry.’

He then clapped back against a fan who asked a very inappropriate request of him.

As a fervent admirer, I humbly inquire if you’d consider dousing yourself with coconut water, while momentarily uncovered up top? To which Dave playfully responds: “I adore coconut water that much, I might consider it… However, recording the event is a different story.

‘A bath in some coconut water? Sign me up!’

In a surprising turn of events, fans were taken aback as Dave’s TV spouse, Jamie Marinos, disclosed that their previously flourishing relationship with Dave fizzled out when he stopped responding (or “ghosted”) following the conclusion of the series.

Jamie is now rumoured to be involved with fellow MAFS groom Eliot Donovan.

In the early stages of the show, it seemed that the beloved characters shared a deep, heartfelt bond that could be interpreted as genuine love. Although their romantic relationship didn’t last, the rugged handyman firmly expressed his desire to remain an important part of his partner’s life.

Yet, it turns out that Jamie, aged 28, disclosed that Dave failed to keep his commitments and didn’t invest any energy in sustaining their friendship beyond the study.

Dave strongly emphasized, “I value you and our friendship too much to let it go,” he shared with Yahoo Lifestyle.

As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but feel that he deeply yearned for my presence in his life. However, following our heartfelt reunion, there was a slight hint of him slipping away, or as one might say, giving me a taste of the ghosting phenomenon.

I was reaching out to him. I said something like, “It seems you were quite eager about my presence in your life,” and when I pointed this out, there was some improvement, yet he hadn’t taken any steps to meet up with me.

She further commented that rewatching the program led her to suspect that Dave had merely pledged a shallow form of friendship to uphold a favorable public persona among viewers.
