In the latest announcement, developer id Software unveiled a fresh setting from the game “DOOM: The Dark Ages” – one of the twenty-two arenas where you’ll face off against waves of demons.
In this unique world known as the ‘Cosmic Realm’, you’ll encounter the fearsome Cosmic Baron and the eerie floating Cacodemon. As the DOOM Slayer, you’ll have the opportunity to dish out intense carnage using an assortment of medieval-style weapons.
The unusual alliance between the Underworld and the Celestial Domain promises to present numerous obstacles, yet you stand equipped to handle them all, armed with the DOOM Slayer’s latest addition – the Shield Saw.
In the video below, you can preview the Cosmic Realm level, accompanied by commentary from Hugo Martin. The game DOOM: The Dark Ages is set to release for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on May 15th. It will be available on launch day through Game Pass.
