Story Highlights

  • Featuring 8 players, you can pick any one from them, which consists of Ibanez, Malcolm, and Atal.

As a dedicated gamer diving into eFootball 2025, I’m always thrilled to discover that this game consistently delivers free packs, with Selection Packs being a favorite. These packs grant us the exciting opportunity to handpick one card from a selection. Given the arrival of the AFC Champions League Elite Selection in eFootball 2025, I thought it would be helpful to share my insights on the best card option for your choice.

eFootball 2025 AFC Champions League Elite Selection Players

We have eight players in the pack. Here’s my overview of all eight.

Roger Ibanez

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Extra Frontman

Ibanez can be described as a “defensive-minded center back” who excels in maintaining his position and clearing potential threats within the penalty area, while minimizing excessive ventures outside. This makes him suitable for the role, given that he possesses decent speed and boasts solid defensive statistics without sacrificing any essential attributes expected of a central defender.

Jhon Duran

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

As a devoted fan, I’d say he’s got a solid card, not exactly extraordinary when you ask me. He leans towards the profile of a physical striker, boasting a decent finish. Standing tall, yet his heading stats aren’t jaw-droppingly impressive. He excels in speed, but could use more finesse in his gameplay.

Malcom

  • Position: RWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger

Malcolm is a type of player who seems to relish having the ball under his control. He suits teams that prefer swift, short passes out on the wings. His ball-handling skills are impressive, making for fluid gameplay, and he also has the ability to generate scoring opportunities, thanks in part to his competent passing.

Youcef Atal

  • Position: RB
  • Playing Style: Full-back Finisher

In my past experience with PES, I recall using his card effectively on the flanks because he was swift. Now, in this game too, he appears competent. He’s agile and seems to excel at advancing, which is a testament to his excellent playstyle. He could perform well if you allow him freedom to move around while ensuring a solid midfielder guards his vacated area. In my opinion, he would be best utilized as an RMF.

Lee Min-Gi

  • Position: LB
  • Playing Style: Defensive Full-back

Overall, he appears well-organized and efficient. Impressively fast stats make him stand out. The speed figure on this is particularly appealing when dealing with slick wingers. Given his defensive role, he’s ideal for teams looking to minimize unnecessary risks from their full-backs.

Jean Claude

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Anchor Man

Hey there fellow gamers! I’ve got a solid midfielder here – the Anchor Man. He’s all about staying deep, disrupting plays, and keeping things tidy in the middle without over-committing to attacks. His passing stats are actually quite impressive too. If you want to boost him up, consider reducing his pace slightly and sending him back to defense or using an aerial skill boost. But just a heads-up, he doesn’t have any skills attached.

Shunsuke Ando

  • Position: GK
  • Playing Style: Defensive Goalkeeper

Shunsuke seems to embody the classic archetype of a goalkeeper, characterized by fundamental stats and standard goalkeeping figures, accompanied by a single notable skill. It’s up to you whether you prefer a goalkeeper with such attributes.

Suphanat Mueanta

  • Position: RWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger

Mueanta falls under the category of swift, skilful wingers. He possesses the abilities of a late game substitute (Super Sub) and the skill to score from his first attempt on goal, making him a potential threat in the second half. However, there’s room for improvement in his overall skills, and his physical interactions seem questionable.

Whom to select from the AFC Champions League Selection in eFootball 2025

After seeing the cards and having multiple builds, here’s my tier list based on the overview.

TierPlayer
SSS (Overpowered)None
S (Strong)Roger Ibanez, Youcef Atal, Malcom
A (Good)Lee Min-Gi
B (Average)Suphanat Mueanta, Jhon Duran
C (Below Average)Shunsuke Ando, Jean Claude

It appears there are a couple of solid options from this group that you might find useful as backups. I’m referring to Roger Ibanez and Youcef Atal, who are both defenders. If, however, you’re in need of an attacker, then consider Malcolm. The remainder of the group can be passed over.
