Hugh Jackman Throws Shade at Ryan Reynolds While Signing Autographs in NYC!

Hugh Jackman cut a dapper figure was he headed out for some media duty on Wednesday.

The acting star from Australia made a stop at CBS Morning Show in New York City, taking time out to sign autographs for eager fans along the way.

As a devoted admirer of style, I chose to don a light jacket over a dress shirt, both in shades of soothing blue, at the age of 56.

He added a pair of crisp jeans and brown boots, and shielded his famous face with sunglasses.

With his well-groomed mix of gray and black facial hair, the star looked casual yet charming as he greeted adoring fans who cherished their brief encounter with their idol.

Hugh stepped out of a parked vehicle accompanied by attendants, yet he graciously spent time meeting numerous fans, signing autographs with a Sharpie marker for them.

On Friday, I couldn’t help but be caught off guard when my beloved idol, Hugh, took aim at his age-old rival, Ryan Reynolds, right before our very eyes on stage! What a thrilling turn of events!

During his performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, he made a detour and playfully reminisced about an incident that occurred while they were shooting the hit superhero movie Deadpool & Wolverine, where Ryan, who is 48 years old, managed to get him rather worked up.

According to a video obtained by DailyMail.com, Hugh expresses his affection for making the movie, stating it was “the best time ever,” yet mentions one minor complaint: he felt excluded from the musical scene in the Marvel film’s production.

The actor from The Greatest Showman playfully hinted at the audience during his musical performance, titled From New York, With Love, “Keep Ryan in the dark.” (This version maintains the meaning and style while using different wording to avoid repetition.)

Hugh commented that he and Ryan were present in all scenes of the movie, save for the initial one where Deadpool needed to locate Wolverine, as he recently rekindled a relationship with his co-star from Music Man, Sutton Foster.

The X-Men star clarified, “It’s alright if I’m not present in every movie scene. However, Ryan is the writer. When I look over the script, I notice that the scene I’m absent from is the opening sequence, which features a dance number to an NSYNC song penned by Ryan.

The one scene where I’m absent features a dance. Yet, Ryan is incredibly gifted, isn’t he? But can he actually dance?” He elicited laughter from the crowd.

Lucky for his fans, Hugh said he was going to try to ‘rectify’ the issue.

He made it clear that he wasn’t planning to imitate the choreography by Darrin Henson from the movie, and in a subtle jab, he pointed out that unlike Ryan, he doesn’t personally perform the dance moves.

He mentioned that he wouldn’t even attempt to compete with Ryan’s dance partner, Nick Pauley, as the man is about 25 years older than him.

Next, he introduced Beth Lewis, his former dance instructor from the past, to assist him with the elusive dance routine.

After that, Hugh tried to outdo Ryan by dancing to the popular hit “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC from 2000.

The fresh dance routine showcased his agility and athletic prowess, as it required him to skip rope throughout the performance.

In sync with the beat, he skillfully flipped and switched his arms, sweeping the rope from one side to another, before dramatically coming down onto the rope, indicating the conclusion of the performance.

He was joined by several of his backup dancers who performed the choreography in unison.

Prior to beginning, he playfully hinted that his trainer Beth might grant him a rest day from training on Mondays as a reward for putting in some extra effort during the performance.

Over the past few months, the music enthusiast has delighted in expressing his love for singing and dancing by hosting his freshly launched stage performance.

Starting from January, he kicked off a 12-performance series at Radio City Music Hall. However, his schedule allows room for additional commitments in Hollywood and beyond since he’s only appearing on certain weekends until the last shows on August 15 and 16.

Despite using the occasion to tease friend Ryan by displaying his dancing abilities, the Deadpool and Wolverine-inspired act was consistent with the rest of the show. This is because he often performs his famous musical numbers and dance routines from previous projects, such as Les Misérables, The Music Man, The Greatest Showman, and The Boy From Oz.

The performance continues as Hugh navigates his public relationship with actress Sutton Foster (age 50) post his 2023 split from Deborra-Lee Furness, following their 27-year marriage.
