Rowing Blazers has teamed up with Bamford London to introduce a restricted collection of watches, adorned with the beloved character Babar from the French children’s book “The Story of Babar.” This partnership is an extension of their previous collaboration on the TAG Heuer x Bamford “Yacht Timer” Carrera and showcases another innovative fusion of narrative and skill.
For the very first time, Babar is shown on a watch, where his arms function as the hands of the clock. The playful and intricate design sets this automatic GMT watch apart. The watch boasts a 40mm stainless steel case, showcasing Babar in his distinctive green suit and crown against a dark background. An internal rotating bezel enhances the design with two shades of green, reflecting the elephant’s iconic clothing.
Running on the Sellita SW330-2 caliber, this watch guarantees accuracy through its automatic winding feature and a generous 56-hour power reserve. Additionally, it features a dual time zone function managed by a central hand, all while boasting water resistance up to 10 atmospheres.
