James Nesbitt’s mystery drama that’s one of BBC’s best has new streaming home after leaving Netflix

After being removed from Netflix, the critically-acclaimed mystery drama The Missing, featuring James Nesbitt, has secured a new platform for streaming.

2014 marked the debut of BBC’s anthology series, where Trevor Nesbitt and Frances O’Connor portrayed the roles of a couple whose son had gone missing. The story unfolded as they sought help from detective Julien Baptiste (played by Tchéky Karyo), who assisted them in their search across France.

2016 saw the airing of the second season that continued the story of detective Baptiste, who delved into the mystery of a missing German girl’s case. In this investigation, we found David Morrissey and Keeley Hawes portraying the roles of the girl’s concerned parents.
