Leonardo DiCaprio’s gripping spy thriller has just been added to Netflix
Leonardo DiCaprio’s 2008 spy thriller Body of Lies has been added to Netflix in the UK and Ireland.
Under the direction of Ridley Scott, who is renowned for his work on Gladiator, this movie boasts Russell Crowe, Mark Strong, Golshifteh Farahani, and Leonardo DiCaprio as its main cast. Additionally, the film includes a young Oscar Isaac, prior to his Star Wars fame.
In the movie “Body of Lies,” Leonardo DiCaprio portrays CIA operative Roger Ferris, who devises a risky scheme to apprehend Al-Saleem, the leader of a self-governing terrorist organization in Jordan, having ties with Al-Qaeda.

Ferris entrusts Ed Hoffman (Crowe) in developing the storyline, all the while concealing this collaboration from Hani (Strong), the Jordanian intelligence chief, to avoid putting his own life at risk should Hani discover their covert operation.
In the year 2008, Digital Spy commended the movie by saying it was a captivating yet uneasy viewing experience. They also noted that instead of adhering to the gloss, allure, and traditional elements of the spy genre, it aimed for something more authentic and truthful.
On Rotten Tomatoes, Body of Lies has a 55% rating from critics and a 62% rating from users.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio will next be seen in Paul Thomas Anderson comedy One Battle After Another.
Last month, I got a glimpse of an upcoming movie that has me really excited! In the trailer, I saw an actor portraying a character who was once part of a rebellion movement. This ex-rebel is now brought back into action when his old gang reunites to save his own daughter. Guess who’s back? You got it – our enemy from before has reappeared!
As a gamer, I’d say, “I’m part of an epic lineup alongside stars like Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, and the talented singer Alana Haim in this movie.
The film One Battle After Another takes inspiration from Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel, Vineland, and its director has previously translated the author’s work into a movie, namely the 2014 adaptation called Inherent Vice.
As a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be joining forces with the legendary Dwayne Johnson and the exceptionally talented Emily Blunt for an imminent crime drama, nestled in the breathtaking backdrop of Hawaii. The esteemed Martin Scorsese will be at the helm of this project, promising a cinematic experience that I can hardly wait to be a part of!
