As a passionate game developer, I’m thrilled to share that my long-awaited project, the retro adventure RPG titled “Summer Dungeon,” is finally taking shape! Mark your calendars, because this epic journey is set to drop on mobile devices, PCs, and Macs later this year. After more than a decade in the making, you’ll soon be able to add it to your wishlist and embark on an unforgettable adventure!

Summer Dungeon is an old-school, Nethack-style adventure RPG where your decisions determine the results. Set in a distant fantasy realm, you can delve into partially randomly generated dungeons, navigate perils, uncover mysteries, battle foes, decide when to consume your final rations to camp, and recuperate.

As an enthusiastic player, I find myself embarking on an exhilarating adventure with none other than Ivi, a cunning treasure hunter, and her steadfast dinosaur ally. Caught in the labyrinthine depths of a dismal dungeon teeming with strange creatures, my task is clear: retrieve a precious treasure to ward off a formidable magical storm looming over both my homeland and our world.

Meet characters, enemies, and take part in turn-based grid battles

As you progress, you’ll encounter characters such as the renowned explorer, Adventurer Pig, and a young researcher named Wolf. With just 216 colors, I can’t wait to delve into the vintage dungeon, brimming with fresh rooms, adversaries, and hidden mysteries. You’ll get to experience grid-based turn-based battles and figure out the patterns of familiar foes for your amusement.

For over a decade in development, Summer Dungeon delivers a nostalgic journey featuring retro pixel-art characters, diverse creatures, treasure hoards, ghostly apparitions, romance, and much more. You’ll also come across mysterious mechanoid eggs that hatch into mounts such as dinosaurs, birds, or mining robots – quite an exciting prospect!

The game titled “Summer Dungeon” is planned for release on smartphones, computers (PC), and Macs. At the moment, we don’t have any details about when it will be launched. Keep checking back here for further announcements!
