Jess Glynne Faces Devastating Career Setback as New Album Flops and Chart Dreams Shattered!

It’s said that Jess Glynne has experienced a significant setback as her latest album, released almost six years after her debut, hasn’t managed to rekindle her musical success.

35-year-old singer, who had earlier achieved an impressive seven UK No.1 singles, has ended her contract with record label EMI following the disappointing performance of her third album “Jess”, released in April 2024. The album debuted at No.6 but quickly fell off the charts entirely just a week later.

In 2022, Jess was signed by a record label that is also home to artists like Taylor Swift and Rihanna, attracting a lot of excitement. However, when her debut single with them didn’t make it into the Top 40 charts, their relationship, which unfortunately didn’t yield many successes, has now concluded.

A source shared with The Sun: ‘Jess has a wealth of experience in producing chart-topping songs, so there was much anticipation upon her signing with EMI Records. However, the partnership hasn’t turned out to be as successful or beneficial for both parties as initially expected.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must confess that the recent album release didn’t quite capture the anticipated success we all hoped for. None of the singles managed to break into the Top 40, which has indeed been a challenge in my journey to reconnect with the public after a brief hiatus.

Initially, they mutually agreed that it would be beneficial to part ways in their collaboration. However, Jess remains optimistic. She’s immersed in creating fresh tunes and strategizing her future plans.

TopMob have contacted Jess’ reps for comment.

Jess’ 2015 album “I Cry When I Laugh” and her 2018 release “Always In Between” were chart-toppers in the UK, each producing a multitude of popular hits.

2015 saw her feature in the Clean Bandit’s song “Rather Be.” This collaboration earned her the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and the Ivor Novello Award.

I’ve had the privilege of working alongside musical powerhouses like Little Mix and Tinie Tempah, and even graced the judging panel for The Voice Australia.

This month, Jess provided a peek into her relationship with Alex Scott by posting a collection of photographs as part of her regular monthly update.

In a recent Instagram post, the 40-year-old singer and television host, who have been in a romantic relationship since October 2023, appeared to be deeply in love.

In this playful moment, the duo decided to poke fun at one another by sticking their tongues out for a humorous selfie, as a video captured them joking around in the backseat of their vehicle.

Jess additionally shared some glimpses with her audience about her latest overseas journeys, featuring a snapshot of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris.

She captioned the carousel of photos: ‘March you were an adventure.’

In a rare remark regarding their relationship, Alex recently shared that she and Jess have grown extremely similar since they started living together.

In The Times, Alex shared her daily schedule, mentioning that she wakes up beside her partner, Jess, who, over the course of the last year and a half, has grown remarkably similar to herself.

‘She can see what going to the gym does for me mentally, so she’ll do the same’.

It was recently rumoured that the pair are considering a permanent move across the pond.

It appears that Alex’s continued tenure at the BBC may be uncertain, as rumors suggest she feels wounded due to insufficient backing in relation to Football Focus.

Last year, it’s believed that the presenter voiced concerns about the management’s handling of criticisms regarding the show’s dwindling audience ratings to the station executives.

Based on reports from The Sun, it appears that Alex might be pondering alternative opportunities, and there’s speculation about a potential relocation to the United States with his girlfriend Jess, since her contract with BBC expires next year.
