Today, Storm in a Teacup, developers of ESDigital Games and “Close to the Sun”, have launched the stealth action game with a dark sci-fi theme titled “Steel Seed”. In this game, you assume the role of the cybernetically-enhanced protagonist Zoe, along with her drone companion Koby.
In their joint endeavor, they are on the hunt for four fragments that once belonged to Zoe’s lost father, hidden deep within a menacing underground complex, which lies beneath an inhospitable Earth. This facility was overtaken by machines following a devastating incident. With humanity hanging precariously close to oblivion (isn’t it usually?), your task is to locate your dad and potentially save the world from peril.
As a gamer, I was all set to share my thoughts on Steel Seed today, but alas! The game crashed midway through our session, and every time we tried to reload, it crashed again. The few moments we managed to play were quite ordinary, with subpar combat, questionable checkpoints, and uninteresting exploration mechanics that lacked flair.
The game titled “Steel Seed” has been released and is available to play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC! It’s retailing at $39.99/£33.49/€39.99 but you can take advantage of a limited-time offer with a 15% discount!
