Rebecca Gibney has unveiled a dramatic hair transformation.
Since her debut on “Packed to the Rafters” in 2008, the 60-year-old actress has been widely recognized for her distinctive shoulder-length blonde hairstyle.
On Monday, Rebecca shared on Instagram a new, more natural appearance, revealing her recently trimmed brunette locks.
‘She mentioned performing an action and subsequently appropriated her son’s hat. At 60, she behaved like a 14-year-old, as certain traits persist. In a note of appreciation, she expressed thanks to her hairdresser for granting her wish.’)
Rebecca couldn’t contain her happiness in the carousel of pictures she shared.
In several selfies, the actress’ genuine grin extended to her eyes, while she displayed her stylish shoulder-length bob haircut with new highlights running through her rich, chestnut tresses.

Though the actress sometimes changes her hair color to brown for specific characters, she consistently returns to her well-known, vibrant blonde shade as her go-to style.
2025 saw Chris McMillan, the mastermind behind Jennifer Aniston’s iconic “The Rachel” haircut on Friends, proclaiming Chestnut Brunette as the trendy hair color of the year, combining elements of both blonde and brown tones.
This intermediate hair color, noticeably sported by celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Hailey Bieber, and Margot Robbie, often becomes popular during periods of global economic struggles, as it necessitates fewer salon maintenance sessions.
After confessing that dancing for the latest season of Dancing with the Stars was the toughest experience she’s encountered, the actress will now face a transformation.
She recently shared on Instagram, “Am I destined to become an expert dancer? No. Have I shed plenty of tears during this journey? Absolutely, many times. Yet, it’s also been the most gratifying and extraordinary experience of my life.
‘I’ve been asked a few times, and never been able to do it,’ she told Stellar magazine.
‘And I’ve always gone, “But I wouldn’t anyway, because it’s too hard and it’s not my field.”
In her words, she admitted to saying “yes,” despite the inner resistance within her, as if another voice inside her head had already agreed.

‘I was having this inner dialogue with myself, going, “What are you doing?”
It dawned on me, especially as I turned sixty, which seems to be considered the start of the third act, that I prefer saying yes over no more often.
I’m eager to take on tasks that push my limits and scare me a bit, hoping it might add some additional years to my life.
Rebecca is the fourth woman ever to be inducted into the TV Week Logie Hall of Fame.
She follows Noni Hazlehurst, Kerri-Anne Kennerley and the late Ruth Cracknel.
