Russell Crowe’s SHOCKING Verdict on Aussie PM Albanese
As I reflect on the upcoming Australian election on May 3rd, my thoughts are drawn back to my enduring friendship with Anthony Albanese. In this political season, our bond serves as a reminder of the power of camaraderie and shared values, even in the midst of electoral competition.
For about 25 years, the famous Hollywood star, aged 61, and the current Prime Minister, also 62, have been acquainted due to their shared involvement with the South Sydney Rabbitohs rugby league team. The actor has held a part ownership of this club since 2006.

‘When I took over the club every man and his dog asked me for stuff, you know. And he never did.
He never participated, but he was always present whenever needed by the club. Whenever there was a significant event happening at the club, he would always show up.
Mr Albanese is a long-time supporter and life member of the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
‘And he kept up his own membership and he buys his own tickets,’ Crowe added.
Indeed, had he requested something from me, I would have agreed readily. However, he didn’t ask for anything. It seems that if he chose to attend the game, it was for personal reasons and not because of any influence from me.
‘You know, that to me shows the quality of the guy.’
Crowe expressed the belief that Australia is fortunate to have Mr. Albanese as Prime Minister due to his genuine personality.
Over the past decade or so, we’ve been faced with a lot of confusing and misleading information,” the Gladiator actor stated. “Now, we have someone who promises to be straightforward and honest with us.
Although Anthony may not always align with your personal preferences for decisions, it’s worth noting that his actions will ultimately contribute positively to the well-being and quality of life for the citizens of this nation in the long run.
A politician’s true role is to better the lives of the people, not the misleading actions we have witnessed from those who claimed to be in such positions over the past decade. I firmly believe that this is his intention for us.
In 2024, Kyle Sandilands hired Crowe and Karl Stefanovic to coordinate a bachelor party for Albanese.
This Year, the Prime Minister, who is set to marry Jodie Haydon, has faced criticism on multiple occasions due to his influential social connections.
Crowe even narrated a Labor advert campaign starring Albanese in 2022.

When asked who among the current or past Australian prime ministers he’d prefer to portray in a film, Crowe humorously hinted that a mischievous part of him was tempted to reply, “None of them.
In a rather amusing twist, it turns out that during my lifetime, I was under the care of highly intelligent political figures such as Gough Whitlam, Malcolm Fraser, Bob Hawke, and Paul Keating. It’s fortunate for our country that we had these brilliant minds at the helm.
‘You cut to a little while later and the same quality… hasn’t been there.’
But if forced to choose, Crowe would be keen to bring the life of Gough Whitlam to the big screen.
Gough Whitlam, a key figure as the leader of the Australian Labor Party, held the position of Prime Minister of Australia from 1972 until 1975.
