Love Triangle’s Payton Reveals Dating Chaos and the Wild Reality of Moving in With Strangers!

She’s the sharp-minded construction worker hailing from a quaint town in New South Wales, known for her straightforwardness and an oversized charm to complement it.

Now, Payton Ellicott, a cast member from Love Triangle, is dishing out details about her thrilling experience on the reality dating series.

The 25-year-old stated that she was contacted by show producers for a role in their Stan Original series, an offer she eagerly accepted as a chance to experience romance following numerous disappointments on dating platforms and a past participation on Million Dollar Island.

Regrettably, Payton didn’t walk away from the show with an extra $1 million – however, she was optimistic that her next reality TV appearance could yield something priceless: a genuine relationship.

‘I want to find love,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

However, my experiences with dating haven’t been great. It feels like I keep choosing less-than-ideal partners. I can’t seem to find my prince charming.

Payton, openly acknowledging her frequent use of dating apps, confesses that she hasn’t found much success with the right swipe – yet she enthusiastically incorporates humor into her messaging exchanges.

‘I’m a typical Gen Z. I read into emojis, I roast my match… it’s all fun.’

But nothing could have prepared her for the chaos of Love Triangle.

She revealed that it turned out just as anticipated, filled with excitement and turmoil, yet incredibly enjoyable. Moving in together after only one date? It’s quite an adventure!

On their initial outing, Payton disclosed that it was Coogee Beach where she had her first date. At first, there were some uncomfortable moments, but eventually, fireworks ignited between her and the man she eventually picked.

She explained her choice by saying, “I believe he offered a little extra, compared to the other person.” She felt there was a unique connection between them through their text messages.

As for the move-in experiment?

‘I don’t really see many people moving in with the first date,’ she laughed.

The most challenging aspect might be the anxiety over potential harm – jokingly speaking, of course! However, in all seriousness, I’ve had experiences with shared houses before. My primary concerns were cleanliness and compatibility; will I be able to coexist with this person?

Though unfamiliar with the reality TV scene initially, Payton found it enlightening; now, she has developed a bit of fondness for this genre.

As someone who hadn’t previously taken much interest in reality TV, my time on the show has given me a newfound respect for its appeal.

At the moment, she’s engrossed in Below Deck, and she openly admits that among celebrities, her heart skips a beat for none other than Vin Diesel – particularly his role in The Pacifier.

‘Are you kidding me? That was him in his prime,’ she joked.

Payton doesn’t seem overly concerned with being portrayed as a villain by viewers while she prepares herself for the audience reception of her on-screen performance.

‘Oh, I’m certainly worried about being the villain,’ she admitted. ‘But we’ll see.’

Not everyone was thrilled about her joining the show, though.

She was advised by her mother not to discuss sex or use profanity on live national TV, and she chuckled about it. However, she joked that she couldn’t remember whether she followed this advice or not.

Asked to sum up the Love Triangle experience, Payton didn’t hesitate.

She smiled, saying it was terrific. Viewers had better hold on tight, as there are plenty of unexpected plot twists coming up.

So what’s the most chaotic thing she can tease?

‘I moved into a house with two strangers,’ she said. ‘I think that says enough.’
