Pokémon GO players battle “impossible” GMax Snorlax throws
GMax Snorlax was a very big challenge, but not in the way you’d expect.
Today’s GMax Snorlax battles in Pokemon GO have posed a challenge for trainers, as it has become unusually tough to execute great and excellent throws.
Achieving a successful or accurate throw in Pokémon GO requires some skill and timing, as the distance between various Pokémon affects the power required to launch a PokéBall. For instance, nearer Pokémon need less power, while Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon, being large, necessitate a slightly different type of throw.
Today, GMax Snorlax was remarkably close, making a gentle tap on the PokéBall send it soaring with immense force. Consequently, numerous Trainers struggled to execute Excellent or even Great Throws due to this power, making catching GMax Snorlax notably challenging.
GMax Snorlax throws prove surprisingly difficult
Catching throws in Pokémon GO can sometimes be challenging, but that’s not unexpected. Both Legendary and Shadow Pokémon often prove difficult due to their erratic movements and frequent attacks. However, finding a catch tough isn’t an issue; it’s just part of the game’s challenge.
Today seemed to be an issue with Pokémon GO, as it was also discussed on Reddit. Players found themselves resorting to using Black and White Kyurem’s Adventure Sync abilities to enhance their catch rates.
It appears that the difficulty in catching Gigantamax Snorlax arises due to its position of lying down, causing the capture circle to move closer to the bottom of the screen. Consequently, aiming for Great or Excellent Throws becomes more challenging with the power-enhanced Poké Balls.
Unfortunately, it’s quite challenging to capture Snorlux due to its low catchability rate. This difficulty arises because most trainers aren’t making their best throws, a technique that significantly enhances the catch rate.
There seems to be some uncertainty about whether this issue is significant enough for Niantic to take action. Over the past few months, we’ve witnessed numerous special events, rewards, and research tasks. In some areas, even the Max Battles were prolonged as a result of another bug.
In case you’re planning to confront the Gigantamax Snorlax, be ready for some tough throws!
If you’re aiming to take on Gigantamax Snorlux, brace yourself for some testing throws!
Or simply: Prepare for challenging throws when going up against Gigantamax Snorlax!
