Brawl Stars April 2025 Brawl Talk: New Brawler Rarity and Brawlers
Ultra Legendary
In the game, a brand new type of Brawler, the Ultra Rare Legendary, has just been introduced. Each of these extraordinary Ultra Legendary Brawlers possesses a distinct and remarkable trait.
Kaze
As a devoted admirer, let me share my perspective: I’m talking about Kaze, the pioneering Ultra Legendary Brawler, whose prowess transcends the realms of mortal combat. She embodies the essence of a deadly ninja, yet she is more than just a warrior – she is Kenji’s cherished partner.
Kaze stands out in a crowd, not just because of her extraordinary abilities, but also due to her dual identity. In essence, she carries within her two Brawlers in one extraordinary being. After braving the dangers together and finding refuge, they established a tranquil haven in Starr Park – their very own restaurant, where they live as Geishas.
What makes Kaze truly captivating is her ability to seamlessly transition between her two aspects: the enchanting Geisha and the formidable Ninja. Each persona comes equipped with its unique arsenal of weapons and abilities, making her a force to be reckoned with on any battlefield.
Geisha Aspect:
- Main Attack: She wields bladed fans, which have a Strike Spot. By hitting enemies inside this area, you can deal extra damage and trigger certain abilities.
- Super: Her Super is called Fan Storm, which covers an area that reduces trapped enemy visibility and provides damage to any who tries to leave.
- Star Powers: You can slow any enemy hit in the weak spot, or remove ammo from Brawlers caught in her Fan Storm.
- Gadgets: Her Geisha Gadget enhances her Ninja aspect, granting either increased movement speed or invisibility after switching.
Ninja Aspect:
- Attack: You can throw deadly shurikens that deal more damage the closer your enemy is, perfect for multiple eliminations.
- Super: You can dash through enemies, marking them. After a short delay, these marked enemies take extra damage.
- Star Power: With her first Star Power, defeated marked enemies deal area damage to other enemies. And with her second Star Power, all effects are triggered when changing to the Ninja aspect, with a 50% longer duration.
- Gadgets: Her Ninja Gadgets enhance her Geisha aspect, offering a healing effect or a dash, when switching.
Here’s a more conversational way of expressing that: “A cool feature is that once you uncover a Star Power, Gadget, or Hypercharge in any aspect, they all get unlocked across the board.
Jae-yong
Jae-yong, often referred to as the Karaoke King, will be joining our roster of brawlers soon, but he doesn’t quite reach Ultra Legendary status. However, what sets him apart is his unique pair of primary attacks that enable you to hurl diverse piercing projectiles at your opponents.
In his “Party Style”, you’re able to restore the health of your team members, while in “Work Setting”, although you inflict less damage, you can provide speed enhancements for yourself and your team. You can toggle between these modes by activating his Super ability, titled “Mix It Up”. This action also instants a bonus such as healing nearby allies or granting them temporary movement speed boosts.
- Star Powers: He has two Star Powers, The Crowd Goes Mild, which grants a speed boost to your teammates near you, and Extra High Note, which allows attacks to do more damage after piercing a target.
- Gadgets: With Weekend Warrior, you can deal area damage and temporarily increase the damage of the main Attack. Time For a Slow Song allows you to slow down enemies around you, leaving behind a trail of slowing paperwork.
Brawl Stars April 2025 Brawl Talk: Four-part Event, New Hypercharges, skins, and more
The Battle for Katana Kingdom
The “Katana Kingdom Event” lasts for four consecutive weeks, offering fresh content in four distinct parts. Each week unveils a new chapter filled with various game modes, unique prizes, and additional features. You stand a chance to acquire an array of Skins, special abilities, cosmetic items, currency, and other valuable rewards during this event.
The occasion initiates when Kenji attempts a novel sushi concoction; however, something seems amiss. Following consumption, your Brawler is bestowed with Wasabi Abilities, comprising a grand total of 60, distributed across four spicy variations: 20 for Hot abilities, 15 for Extra Hot abilities, 15 for Crazy Hot abilities, and 10 for Inferno abilities. These powers can be utilized exclusively in the Wasabi modifier game settings.
Sushi Meter
You have the opportunity to gather Sushi Rolls, which may consist of as many as eight assorted sushi items as rewards, such as Wasabi Powers, Hypercharges, Star Powers, Gadgets, Skins, Brawlers, Coins, Bling, Power Points, Credits, Pins, Sprays, and Icons. You can acquire these rolls through daily victories, complimentary prizes, unique missions, daily competitions, Club activities, and the marketplace. Additionally, a fresh method to earn them is introduced every week.
For every piece of sushi obtained from a roll, you’re adding to your Sushi Progress Bar, filling it up for access to additional perks. Plus, the special Oni Kenji Hypercharge character skin is exclusively available through this event.
Mega Buffet
As an excited fan, I’m thrilled to share that we’re about to experience the Mega Buffet event, which is essentially a refreshed version of the beloved Mega Pig event! Throughout the next week, you and your fellow club members will each receive four tickets daily to engage in various game modes. Each victory adds a point to our shared Sushi Buffet, making it more enticing and rewarding with every win!
Whenever your club achieves a milestone during the event, you’ll immediately receive your complimentary Sushi Roll as a reward, which you can keep claiming until the event concludes.
Game Modes
In the upcoming Katana Kingdom event, the game will add two fresh gameplay options: Samurai Smash and Oni Hunt.
Samurai Smash
In this game setting, you engage in either 5-player versus 5-player or 3-player versus 3-player combat sessions. The aim is to accumulate the highest number of points as you face off against the Samuraibots and opposing teams. Each Samuraibot possesses unique attack styles, making them a common adversary for both sides.
Oni Hunt
In the Oni Hunt game setting, you’ll team up with two other players to battle against a massive, stylishly charged demon named Kenji, who boasts multiple attack strategies. Furthermore, if you successfully complete 5 stages of varying difficulty each day within the chapter that Oni Hunt unlocks, you’ll earn rewards for seven consecutive days, including sushi rolls.
Brawl Arena
In the upcoming June season, we’ll be introducing Brawl Arena, a speedy variant of Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). It offers in-game leveling for characters, standard towers, wave after wave of bots, a jungle teeming with AI opponents, and the mighty Kaiju who bestows a team-wide boost. While it retains the fundamental aspects of a MOBA, each game lasts approximately five minutes.
Daily Contests
In addition to the existing game modes, we’ll be introducing a new one: daily competitions. In this mode, you’ll be pitted against nine other players each day. The goal is to climb to the top of the leaderboard. If you manage to secure a spot among the Top 8, you’ll receive a tasty reward of sushi!
Katana Kingdom Season
Get ready for the arrival of Katana Kingdom Season starting May 1st, packed with breathtaking character skins! The forthcoming Brawl Pass includes Kasa-Obake Piper as a Brawl Pass exclusive skin, accompanied by Yokai Piper and Tsukumogami Piper as Chroma variants.
Additionally, it’ll include characters like Cursed Kenji, Tanuki Sprout, the Wanderer Grey, Shukuteki Tara, Shinobi Ash, and Tengu Angelo in their unique skins.
Crush the Kaiju
The epic Kaiju battle season arrives in June, introducing Shin Edgar as the Brawl Pass character skin. Additionally, Drift Edgar and Masked Edgar will be available as alternate skins, known as Chromas. Furthermore, the season will introduce Intergalactic Griff, Kaiju Clancy, Tokusatsu Colette, Monstro Mico, and Mecha Finx, each coming with two Chromas – Crimson Tyfinx and Mecha Chief Finx.
