Freddie Bentley shared the story behind him proving his former teachers wrong, having successfully pursued his aspirations in television, while discussing his challenging past and upbringing on a city council estate.

The reality TV personality, aged 27, confided in TopMob that he was advised to keep his expectations grounded when he shared with his peers in high school that he aspired to become a television star as an adult.

Growing up as an ordinary child in the care of the local council, Freddie openly acknowledged that he had faced difficult periods in his life. However, throughout these tough times, he was consistently uplifted and nurtured by his resilient mother who battles with bipolar disorder.

He made clear that regardless of his background, he’d harbored the dream of becoming an entertainer since time immemorial, understanding deep down that he was cut out for anything but a typical 9-to-5 career.

Freddie shared with TopMob that he’s had an affinity for fashion since childhood, consistently being fashion-forward, and even enjoyed viewing Gok Wan’s “How To Look Good Naked.” He has always found programs like that interesting.

I’ve consistently prioritized personal aesthetics throughout my life, always aiming for a polished appearance. It’s worth noting that I hail from an image-conscious family, not because of wealth or privilege, but simply because we placed emphasis on our appearance. Growing up, I resided in a public housing unit with my mother, leading a quite ordinary upbringing.

He added: “We’ve always ensured that, despite having an ordinary upbringing, our appearance has been kept neat, clean, and well-maintained.

As a product of a typical neighborhood council, I’ve always harbored big dreams and worked hard to make them a reality. I believe my journey serves as proof that no matter your background, you have the potential to accomplish whatever you set your sights on in life.

From a young age, I’ve had a flair for entertaining. At just four years old, I was already twirling about in a Snow White costume. Even during my school days, particularly the upper grades, I found myself drawn to shows like Big Brother.

Additionally, I recall expressing my intention to participate in Big Brother as an adult, looking forward to watching it during the eras of Nikki Graham and Jade Goody – true icons of that time.

In a past instance, I recall being in a Spanish lesson where we were asked to express our ideal profession in Spanish. However, I shared that I aspired to work in television, and my instructor responded by suggesting I should aim for a more practical career.

I told her, ‘Sue, no matter if it’s Spanish or British television, I’ll definitely be appearing.’

Hearing others say I can’t do something has fueled my determination and motivation to prove them wrong.

As a child, I preferred spending time with adults rather than other kids. I guess they could sense this about me. My environment wasn’t particularly conducive to my mother being the center of attention – she was uncomfortable in front of cameras and would become very nervous. I’m still not sure where that preference comes from within me.

My family is quite assured, yet none of them has ever appeared on television or harbored a desire to do so.

Discussing his background in a council estate and caring for his mother, Freddie expressed that it was clear to his family he wouldn’t follow a typical career path.

In our family, my mother, who has bipolar disorder, stays at home to take care of us. We affectionately call her ‘the stay-at-home mummy.’ She is truly remarkable and amazing. On the other hand, my father has spent his career as a builder – a genuine tough guy.

My mom and I share an exceptionally close bond. I admire her immensely. We’re extremely close, and I have always been there for her. Right now, she’s on an inspiring path, making great strides, and I find her truly remarkable.

It’s not immediately obvious, but she consistently takes her medications and actively engages in self-improvement activities such as taking long walks.

Last year, I added a new member to our family – a sweet little pup named Queenie. Having her around has been incredibly beneficial for me, as she’s encouraged me to engage more socially and step out more often.

Though I strive to live my life to the fullest and become the best I can be as my mother wishes, I feel a sense of guilt knowing she might be feeling lonely. So, I decided to get her a dog, and now they’re inseparable friends.

Although I’ve faced tough times, I find myself currently in a fortunate position where I can assist my mother. Under no circumstances will I allow her to be without my support.

After scaling the rungs to fame, this feline of glamour now revels in a life of opulence. Last week, he indulged in a non-invasive Brazilian Butt Enhancement, used salmon roe as a filler, and added a hint of Botox.

After ascending the ladder to stardom, this glamorous cat now leads a life of luxury. Last week, he underwent a non-surgical procedure for buttock augmentation using salmon sperm, and had a bit of Botox for good measure.

Freddie gained popularity when he participated in Netflix’s show The Circle in August 2018. In this competition, he finished as the runner-up, earning a 2.67-star rating from his fellow competitors, namely Kate, Sian, and Dan.

In simpler terms, “The Circle” is an online game show that puts competitors in separate environments, challenging them to win over others and accumulate prizes by engaging in virtual conversations and building their online popularity.

Making an appearance on the program marked the beginning of his influential career, leading him to secure significant brand partnerships with companies such as Pretty Little Thing.

Later on, he began exploring the field of modeling, leading him to become a representative or spokesperson for firms like Stone Valley Clothing.

Later on, Freddie made guest appearances on various television shows, including MTV’s Celebrity Ex On The City and also featured on a few podcasts.

In 2023, during season 31 of The Only Way Is Essex, his popularity soared significantly as he formed a growing bond with Ella Rae Wise from Big Brother, which was evident on the show.
