Ryan Gosling has been confirmed as the lead of Shawn Levy’s upcoming Star Wars movie.
In January, it was rumored that Ryan Gosling might take on a role for an unnamed Star Wars project directed by the man behind Deadpool and Wolverine. However, no official confirmation has been made, and specifics about the project have yet to be disclosed.
At the latest Star Wars Celebration event held in Tokyo, it’s been confirmed that Ryan Gosling will feature in an individual tale called Star Wars: Starfighter. This movie is set to be released in theaters on May 7, 2027.
At the gathering, Gosling remarked, “In truth, the quality of this script is truly exceptional. It boasts an engaging plot and unique, captivating characters.
This story is brimming with emotion and excitement, and I can’t imagine anyone else as suitable a director for it other than Shawn.
Speaking further about her role as Barbie, she added, “From the photo, it seems that I might have been daydreaming about Star Wars before actually watching it. This experience likely shaped my entire concept of what movies can be.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Levy has verified the upcoming movie won’t follow the narrative of the Skywalker Saga; instead, it promises a fresh, independent tale.
He stated, “This isn’t connected to any previous stories; it’s neither a prequel nor a sequel. Instead, it offers a fresh journey set in an unexplored era.
Plot details and further cast members are yet to be announced.
