Susannah Constantine’s Shocking Honeymoon Confession

Thirty years following their wedding, Susannah Constantine and her husband were seen showing affectionate gestures during their trip back to their honeymoon spot in Egypt.

62-year-old television host publicly displayed affection by sharing a loving kiss with her partner, Sten Bertelsen, during a romantic camel excursion circling the iconic pyramids of Giza.

Posting a delightful photo on Instagram, Susannah announced they were setting off on a thrilling 12-day journey along the River Nile as part of their anniversary celebrations.

In 1995, she got married to a businessman, and together they have been parents to Cece (age 20), Esme (age 23), and Joe (age 24). Over the past three decades, they’ve been globe-trotting as a family.

At that very instant, the couple appeared deeply fond of each other, leaning across to share a tender kiss on their adventure-filled journey through the desert, accompanied by the animals.

For the excursion, Susannah donned a cream sun hat, a white blouse, and green slacks, adding a touch of playfulness with a distinctive leopard-patterned handbag.

On our outing, Susannah chose to wear a straw cream sunhat, a crisp white shirt, and stylish green pants. She completed her look with a fun leopard print bag.

Simultaneously, Danish businessman Sten shielded himself from the intense sunlight, donning a blue hat, a red neck scarf, and a white shirt.

Next to the post, she wrote: “Returning to where our honeymoon began about 30 years back. Kick-starting a 12-day journey along the grand Nile, right at the Pyramids.

Additionally, despite outwardly seeming content together, Susannah had confessed earlier that she and her spouse went without speaking for a whole half year following their wedding. In fact, she was haunted by the thought that she may have committed the gravest error in her existence.

In a recent episode of my podcast, My Wardrobe Malfunction, I shared that I found myself guiding him down the aisle with determination and persistence.

In her latest podcast conversation with Daisy May Cooper, Susannah shared that their marriage had a bumpy beginning.

In response to Daisy expressing her longing for her childhood and wishing to travel back to the summer of 1996 with a time machine, Susannah shared that she had gotten married in that same year.

Inquired about whether it had been a pleasant summer, Susannah responded: ‘Not at all, it was terrible. After our wedding, I felt I had committed the greatest error of my existence.’

As a devoted spouse, there was a period of approximately six months where communication between us dwindled to nothing. To ensure our future together, I found myself guiding him reluctantly towards our wedding day, with some resistance along the way.

Susannah continued: ‘One night, strangely close to Christmas, we both woke up around 4 a.m. We exchanged glances, and simultaneously said, “Everything will be alright.” It was quite unusual. Ever since then, 25 years later, we’ve remained married.’

Susannah had a ‘small’ wedding with around 60 people in attendance.

In response, Daisy admitted: ‘I find weddings really f****** stressful, I hated my own wedding.’

In the 1980s, Susannah was quite a popular figure, often referred to as a trendsetter or style icon. For eight years, she also had a relationship with David, Viscount Linley, who is the son of Princess Margaret.

In the 1990s, the podcast host was romantically involved with Imran Khan, who later became the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Susannah worked in America for designer Giorgio Armani before working for John Galliano in London.

In 1994, the presenter crossed paths with their old friend Trinny Woodall, sparking a collaboration on a weekly fashion article titled “Ready To Wear”. Together, they also launched Ready2shop.com.

They became famous for co-hosting the popular TV series What Not To Wear from 2001 to 2005.
