Omarosa’s Sick Bed Prank on Me Will Haunt Me Forever
When I agreed to participate in Got to Get Out, the latest Hulu reality competition set in a Toronto mansion, I assumed to myself, ‘I’ve chatted with presidents, stars, and even a notorious killer who dismembered several individuals. Can a reality show really be that tough? Just hand me the million-dollar prize already.’
Prior to encountering Omarosa, that’s when things stood. Indeed, she, the original reality TV antagonist, turned out to be a competitor. Moreover, she positioned herself as an obstacle for me in reaching a substantial financial reward.
With the grace of a visiting monarch, she firmly grasped my hand. She politely expressed her excitement for our upcoming game.
Her smile radiated warmth, making it difficult for me to notice if she was subtly preparing to betray me, like a knife being sharpened in silence.
Before I got to the set, I thought the participants would be ordinary individuals with little or no experience in TV.
I acquired items reminiscent of Kim Zolciak’s platinum wigs, Cynthia Bailey’s striking cheekbones, the muscular physique of NFL running back Rashad Jennings, dance moves akin to Val Chmerkovskiy’s, and Spencer Pratt, whose wardrobe seemed to be dominated by T-shirts showcasing wife Heidi Montag’s album titles.
Or more casually:
I got stuff like Kim Zolciak’s platinum wigs, Cynthia Bailey’s chiseled cheekbones, Rashad Jennings’ muscles, Val Chmerkovskiy’s dance steps, and Spencer Pratt’s wardrobe full of T-shirts with Heidi Montag’s album names.
All their knives were out. Maybe winning the million was going to be harder than i thought.
Moreover, there was an additional surprise: Four ex-Bachelorettes graced the event, among them one who hails from the Greek adaptation of the program.
I encountered an unbeaten MMA combatant, a model who could’ve stepped off the pages of Vogue magazine, a police officer with a role in Squid Games, and Stephen Giannopoulos – a firefighter adorned with tattoos who made it 55 days on Big Brother Canada.
Even those who seemed ordinary were highly skilled, as the detective had reached the finals on the survivalist competition called “Outlast.
The female firefighter was a CrossFit champion.
A game creator known as ‘Doodles’, along with an adventure television producer, and a TikTok sensation who also happens to be related to Beyoncé, were all part of this intriguing trio.
Was I on the show because of a clerical error?

So the rules of Got to Get out are simple: the 20 of us were locked in a sprawling mansion.
The prize pot would increase by $1 per second to a maximum value of $1 million.
Every day, a few participants would be given a ‘plan for departure’ indicating the time when a window or door would open automatically.
If someone successfully leaves the house, sprints through the open front door, and makes off with the money in the jar, they’ll pocket that amount, leaving the jar empty for a fresh start—effectively taking the cash from all the others.
If the other residents discover our plan to leave, they might activate an alarm from the watchtower and press a red button located on the first floor, thereby quickly closing the entrance door.
Disappointed, the runner headed back home with their head down, carrying the regret of their actions in their posture, vowing never to take money unlawfully ever again.
If no player managed to leave the game before it ended with all the money still in the pot, they would divide the remaining funds among themselves.
On our initial gathering, the twenty of us assembled near a colossal dining table, collectively deciding to steer clear of the producer’s manipulative tactics, and instead, share the earnings equitably among ourselves.
Each of us would walk away with $50,000 — a tidy sum for 10 days work.
Spoiler alert: that’s not what happened.
For the following ten days, we concocted plots, undermined each other, and spoke untruths frequently. Attempts were made to embezzle funds through elaborate plans, some of which worked remarkably well while others were laughably implausible.
There were quarrels, physical harm, and romantic entanglements; among these, one developed into a genuine love affair.
Shane Dougherty, the MMA fighter, is now dating model (and 2020 Miss Earth) Lindsey Coffey.

Initially portraying a kind character, Detective Rob Roman later formed connections with everyone within the residence, pledging commitments that he could not fulfill.
Despite being a Golden Bachelor contestant at 67 years old, Susan Noles occasionally displayed a cunning nature, but more frequently, it seemed she was only working against her own progress.
And as for me? I went into the show planning to be a hero.
It took me one day to switch to the dark side.
However, what truly stood out were the high-profile personalities gracing the show. Since his stint on The Hills, Spencer Pratt has softened, yet he still retains his sharpness.
He has replaced his acerbic persona with an scathing yet endearing deadpan humor.
Regardless, you wouldn’t want to cross him: Once I was exposed for telling my first untruth, he took to labeling me as ‘Liar Steve.’ This moniker persisted so strongly that not only did others adopt it, but even the host, Simu Liu, started using it too.
Both Real Housewives, Kim Zolciak and Cynthia Bailey, came to play the game hard.
And it was common for Kim to engage in playful squabbles, these altercations usually having an unspoken understanding – unless, of course, someone dared to touch her secret supply of bottled water.

Omarosa has claimed that she has left her villainy behind, and for the most part, she has.
But everyone knew that if she had the choice, she wouldn’t split the money with them.
One evening, she playfully placed a stuffed rodent’s head in my bed. She referred to me as the “house mouse,” and when I questioned her about this startling practical joke, she responded: “If you weren’t acting like a rodent, I wouldn’t have to pull such stunts.
Additionally, she attempted to deceive me, aiming to confine me within their home’s “prison,” and then derided me as I served out my sentence.
Without giving away too much, let me tell you that the eight available episodes on both Hulu and Disney+ are packed with excitement, drama, and a good dose of humor that catches you off guard.
So I survived living with these people, and I actually still like them all.
And if the producers ever call me to do the sequel, Got To Get Back In, I’ll be there.
But this time, I’m bringing a bigger knife.
