In her heartfelt Golden Globe acceptance speech, she shared an old experience where a producer referred to her as a “popcorn actress,” which gradually eroded her confidence to the point where she contemplated quitting acting a few years back.

Even though “The Substance” wasn’t recognized by the Oscars, Moore informed Time that the movie’s success nonetheless elevated her public image.
