Robert Irwin’s Dancing With The Stars partner Witney Carson hits back at airline after claiming her kids were told to ‘be quiet’ on a flight to the US

Okay, so this is frustrating to hear! As someone who travels a lot, I totally get how stressful flights can be. Apparently, Robert Irwin’s Dancing With The Stars partner, Witney Carson, had a really unpleasant experience on a Delta flight. She’s saying the flight attendants actually told her young kids to be quiet – which, as a mom myself, I just think is unacceptable. It’s a tough situation traveling with little ones, and a little kindness goes a long way, you know?

The 32-year-old American dancer recently traveled to Queensland with her family to see Robert and shared a photo on social media showing her looking upset during the flight.

She turned to her followers for advice, asking if it’s okay to expect a child to remain quiet throughout a 13-hour flight after explaining the situation.

I was playing with my son, Jet, when someone asked us to be quiet. A man near the front needed to rest.

She added she found the request to be perplexing, given it was made in the middle of the day.

Witney acknowledged the need for scheduled downtime, but pointed out that this particular instance happened midday, which was inconvenient.

She wondered if she was overreacting by suggesting people focus on things they can control, and simply block out what they can’t – like using earplugs to tune out distractions.

As a frequent traveler, I completely understand how stressful flying with little ones can be. On a recent Delta flight, I felt really uncomfortable because the cabin crew kept telling me to quiet my two-year-old, Jet. It just made an already challenging situation even harder, and honestly, it wasn’t a very supportive experience.

Honestly, it was infuriating! This flight attendant kept telling Jet to be quiet, and I just had to know if there were specific quiet hours on the flight. I mean, he’s Jet! I needed to understand the rules, you know? I had to ask!

‘We’d respect that. But if not, I don’t expect my children to sit quietly for 13 hours. I’m done!’

The Daily Mail has contacted Delta Air Lines for comment.

Witney received a lot of supportive responses to her post, and she later expressed her gratitude to her fans.

She shared, “I think I’ve found the right community on Instagram, and it feels good to be heard. Thanks for listening to me vent.”

Just recently, 22-year-old Robert Irwin had a heartwarming reunion with the dance partner who helped him win Dancing With The Stars US last year.

The Wildlife Warrior welcomed Witney and her family to visit him at Australia Zoo.

A heartwarming video on Instagram shows Robert dancing into view with Witney, her husband Carson McAllister, and their sons, Kevin Leo (5) and Jet Carson. He playfully held the hands of Witney and Carson as he entered the frame.

I always love seeing families connect with nature, and this one was no different! They chose a classic khaki look – so practical for a day outdoors – as they spent time getting acquainted with all the wonderful animals at the sanctuary. It was a beautiful, down-to-earth experience.

Witney enjoyed getting close to some lemurs, and then the family all watched Robert present the popular crocodile show.

‘We are BACK. Team IrWINit reunited,’ Robert wrote in his caption alongside the clip.

Witney and Robert won the American version of Dancing with the Stars in November and were awarded the Mirrorball trophy.

Oh my gosh, last year everyone was convinced Robert and Witney had a thing! It was all over social media, people were shipping them so hard! But then we all found out, sadly, that Witney was already with someone. Total heartbreak for those of us who were rooting for them, honestly!

Viewers remarked on their sizzling chemistry evident from their first dance together.

Fans of the Australian celebrity, who is a decade younger than Witney, were surprised and upset to learn that the choreographer is already married.
