As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the anticipated spin-off of Death in Paradise, titled Return to Paradise, has unveiled some major updates for its second season! Among these exciting revelations is the announcement of an iconic guest star gracing our screens. Can’t wait to see who it will be!
The newest installment in the continually expanding “Paradise” series features a detective who moves back to Australia and resolves various murder mysteries under the bright Aussie sky, yearning for his return to the UK.
The filming of the second season has commenced officially, and the BBC has verified that it will air on BBC One and iPlayer.
Additionally, the BBC revealed that Ardal O’Hanlon will be returning to his character, Jack Mooney from Death in Paradise.
In addition to the main cast, notable guest stars appearing in the new season are Danielle Cormack, Meyne Wyatt, Roz Hammond, Justine Clarke, Michelle Lim Davidson, Greg Stone, Zoe Carides, Simon Lyndon, Miah Madden, and Tim Rogers from the band You Am I.
In the official summary for season two, it hints that Mack might struggle emotionally when her former fiancé Glenn confessed his lingering feelings for her, even as he’s about to marry Daisy.
Fortunately for Mack, her constant drive to unravel unsolvable mysteries becomes an effective diversion, and she finds herself with a plentiful supply of murder cases to explore.
In a variety of settings, ranging from the literary realm to modern shark research facilities, dating platforms, and live music events, Mack and her group tackle intriguing puzzles using their special mix of humor and determination.
However, Mack’s most significant hurdle was figuring out how to coexist in Dolphin Cove, given his status as an outsider par excellence.
Anna Samson, Lloyd Griffith, Tai Hara, Catherine McClements, Celia Ireland, Andrea Demetriades, and Aaron McGrath are all set to return.
