Frostpunk Developer Says Next Project to Launch in 2027

11 bit Studios, the creators of Frostpunk, have announced that a new game set in the Frostpunk universe is scheduled for release in the year 2027.

11 bit Studios CEO, Przemysław Marszał, shared with Eurogamer that a new game within the Frostpunk universe might be released as soon as the year 2027.

As a devoted gamer, I’ve had the pleasure of immersing myself in two captivating installments from this series thus far. Last year, I was absolutely hooked by the launch of “Frostpunk 2”, a city-building survival game that left me spellbound with its engaging gameplay and immersive world.

Marszał didn’t delve deeply when questioned about whether the Frostpunk series was complete, but hinted that the studio is working on it for the future instead.

We are completely invested in Frostpunk. We have faith in this intellectual property. We share the same enthusiasm for its fantasy world. In approximately two weeks, there will be an exciting announcement related to it, so stay tuned! We are committed to this IP and plan to further develop it.

11 Bit Studios, being the dedicated creators they are, are not only focusing on updates and DLC for our beloved game, but they’ve also got more up their sleeves! Marszał himself hinted at this, saying, “We’ve begun work on two different projects. One of them is related to Frostpunk, and the other is something entirely fresh.
