
Celebrated stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze will host the 77th Emmy Awards this fall.
2024 saw Bargatze, renowned for his dry wit and spotless humor, achieve the highest-grossing comedy tour of the year, according to Billboard. His debut as host of “Saturday Night Live” in 2023 was a resounding success, leading him to return as host the following year and even make an appearance during its 50th anniversary special.
In a recent press statement, Cris Abrego, the head of the Television Academy, praised Nate as an exceptionally funny and popular comedian whose unique style appeals to diverse generations across the world. He expressed excitement about utilizing Nate’s distinctive viewpoint to provide entertainment for viewers tuning into this year’s Emmy Awards broadcast.
On September 14, starting at 5 p.m. Pacific Time, the Emmy Awards ceremony (the 77th one) will be shown live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
