Vogue Williams: I Would’ve Swiped Past Spencer on a Dating App!

Vogue Williams openly stated that, given the chance on a dating app, she probably wouldn’t have chosen her husband Spencer Matthews as a match initially.

39-year-old model and her partner, 36-year-old Spencer, tied the knot in 2016. They’ve just refuted rumors suggesting their marriage is facing difficulties.

Before dating a former Made In Chelsea star, she had been married to the Irish pop star Brian McFadden from 2012 until 2017.

In the most recent installment of our podcast, Vogue & Amber, I confided in my dear sister Amber Wilson that if I had encountered Spencer for the first time then, he wouldn’t have been the one who caught my eye.

While dating apps certainly seem like an excellent starting point for many, I myself have never resorted to using them. Instead, I’ve given a try to people-meeting platforms, but the issue is that one can only make judgments based solely on physical appearance with such methods.

I’ve often mentioned that Spencer is undeniably attractive, but if we had crossed paths back then, he wouldn’t have been my preferred match. I probably would have skipped over him in a dating app.

It’s disheartening to witness such a false narrative recurring so frequently, especially since it isn’t based on truth. More significantly, I prefer that my kids aren’t exposed to these fabrications in their playground environment.

It seems uncertain where this originates, but it definitely has an odd, unpleasant vibe about it.

I can’t help but express my heartfelt joy: My spouse and I are deeply content, immersed in love, and I fervently believe that disclosing this fact on my personal platform could put an end to these unwarranted rumors.

The pair crossed paths during the fourth season of Diving Show, and since then, they have been raising three kids – Theodore who is six years old, Gigi aged four, and the youngest, Otto, who is only two.

The union between Vogue and Spencer was initially questioned following whispers that Spencer may have been involved romantically with Lottie Moss, during the wedding of Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, which took place in May 2023.

Lottie maintains that nothing inappropriate happened, claiming instead that they merely enjoyed each other’s company during the festivities.

Meanwhile Vogue also recently admitted that the pair struggle to have child-free time together.

In essence, it’s important to remember that you’re all part of one large family. Constant quarrels and lack of shared time together can make a family feel incomplete.

Currently, our schedule doesn’t allow for extensive time spent together, but we make an effort to set aside a couple of weekends annually for some quality one-on-one time.
