Sutton Foster Shines Solo at Premiere, Hugh Jackman Absent Amidst Rumored Affair

At the New York City debut of Étoile, held at the Museum of Modern Art, Sutton Foster graced the event stylishly, appearing solo without her companion, Hugh Jackman.

50-year-old alumna showcased her arms and shoulders in a sleek black top with spaghetti straps, coordinating pants, and heels chosen by fashion expert Emily Sanchez.

This version maintains the original structure while using more natural language and easy-to-read phrasing.

Hairdresser DJ Quintero styled Sutton’s wavy brown bob, and she sported a simple makeup look featuring only foundation, mascara, and a touch of blush.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I was privileged to grace the crimson carpet of an extraordinary event, marking the launch of Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino’s enchanting eight-episode ballet series. This captivating production, brimming with talent, features Charlotte Gainsbourg and Luke Kirby, and will make its grand debut on April 24, gracing our screens via Amazon Prime Video.

Absent from the two-time Tony winner’s entourage was her long-time Music Man co-star, now 56 years old, who has been diligently rehearsing for his role in the off-Broadway play “Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes,” set to premiere on April 28 at the Audible Theater.

Following a month filled with rumors, Sutton and Hugh officially confirmed their alleged relationship on January 6 – about five years since they started collaborating on Jerry Zaks’ Broadway revival at the Winter Garden Theatre, full of excitement.

In the year 2023, Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness ended their 27-year union, while Foster petitioned for an uncontested divorce from her spouse, Ted Griffin, on October 22, in the New York County Supreme Court.

For over a decade, the Georgia-born triple threat and the 54-year-old 9-1-1 producer-writer welcomed seven-year-old daughter Emily Griffin into their family. In an interview with Vogue in 2022, she shared that they celebrated Memorial Day with Hugh’s family.

Sutton divorced her first husband actor Christian Borle in 2009 after three years of marriage.

Ryan Reynolds, who played Deadpool and Wolverine, along with Deb’s adopted kids, Oscar (age 24) and Ava (age 19), are now considered legal adults. However, it could be challenging for them to fairly split his reported $200 million wealth as there seems to be no prenuptial agreement in place.

A source close to the matter revealed to DailyMail.com last month that Hugh and Deborra-Lee haven’t finalized a divorce due to disagreements over the distribution of their shared property.

‘Deborra-Lee feels entitled to more money than Hugh is willing to offer.’

Sources close to Hugh have always insisted there was no overlap with him and Foster.

According to the source, although he didn’t engage in a romantic physical relationship with Sutton, Deborra-Lee perceives that they were involved emotionally, which makes her feel he was unfaithful to her.

In a high-stakes financial situation, Deborra-Lee is firmly resolved to secure what she feels is rightfully hers following the separation. She’s leveraging the information that Hugh remains married and engaged with another woman to her advantage in the proceedings.

As someone eagerly anticipating it, I’m ready to return to my Radio City Music Hall residency starting this Friday and Saturday. It’s none other than Hugh Jackman Live from New York with Love, and I can hardly wait for these shows in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Just one Oscar win away from EGOT status, Jackman is only an arm’s length away!

This coming Friday, the Grammy nominee will continue her Sutton in Concert Tour at the Charleston Gaillard Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

On April 22nd, Sutton will gather with her co-stars from Once Upon a Mattress – Michael Urie, Daniel Breaker, Will Chase, Ana Gasteyer, and Nikki Renée Daniels – for an album signing and performance at the Museum of Broadway in Manhattan.

Additionally, Foster is working on a genuine stage musical adaptation of the 1976 memoir “Coal Miner’s Daughter” by country icon Loretta Lynn. This project is being developed under the guidance of director Sam Gold and music director Jeanine Tesori.
