Diddy’s New Lawyer Revealed

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ legal team has expanded by one.

In a recent development, Atlanta lawyer Brian Steel, previously associated with musician Young Thug, is the most recent prominent figure offering legal assistance to the controversial music industry titan who is preparing for his trial on charges of sex trafficking.

On Tuesday, a lawyer submitted documents to the U.S. District Court in Southern New York, signifying his intention to represent the Grammy-winning artist during the upcoming trial, which is set to begin in three weeks.

In the document examined by Dailymail.com, Steel stated that he is an active and unblemished member of the Georgia State Bar, with no ongoing disciplinary actions against him in any court, either state or federal. Furthermore, he has no prior felony convictions to his name.

I’ve never faced disbarment, court denial of admission or readmission. However, there have been instances where I was suspended (and later reinstated) and censured by courts, but those decisions were eventually overturned. I’ve included the specific details about these events in the attached affidavit as required by Local Rule 1.3.

DailyMail.com has contacted both Diddy’s legal representatives and Steel, seeking additional information about his participation on the team.

On his website’s biography, Steel claims he has consistently stood up for individuals charged with criminal wrongdoing since the year 1991.

As an ardent admirer, let me share my excitement about this legal maestro. You see, he’s meticulously constructed a formidable criminal defense empire, stretching across state and federal courts. His secret? Meticulous preparation, inventive strategies, groundbreaking motions, and unyielding courtroom battles. These traits, which have proven invaluable in his past cases, will undoubtedly shine brightly in the upcoming Combs trial.

Steel has been present in various courts across the nation, with cases arising not just in its home state of Georgia, but also in California, Florida, Missouri, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, New Jersey, and Oregon.

His colleague, Douglas Weinstein, highly commended him to Rolling Stone as an exceptional figure, indicating that his wisdom, determination, and personality would be an outstanding asset to Mr. Combs’ team.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges after his September arrest.

He’s been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, waiting for his trial scheduled for May 5, as he’s been denied bail on numerous instances.

In the federal case against Combs, prosecutors argue that he resorted to threats and violent actions to keep alleged victims from speaking out.

In reference to the allegations against the entertainer, I myself have been accused of coercing women into unwilling participation in so-called ‘Freak Offs,’ these being group sexual displays. This is a charge that I strenuously deny and aim to clear my name of.

5 months after his September 16th arrest in Manhattan on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, the artist known for Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down is still in federal detention.

Combs, accused of arranging transport for prostitution activities, has unsuccessfully attempted thrice to secure bail. The courts have expressed apprehension that he might try to escape or interfere with his case proceedings.

Combs, who is involved in arranging transportation for prostitution, has tried three times without success to get out of jail, because the court thinks he may run away or tamper with his own case.

2024 saw him frequently making news headlines, with events like police raids at various locations in March and later in May, when footage of him attacking Cassie aired on CNN.
