Check Out This Year’s LEGO ‘Star Wars’ May the 4th Lineup
Enthusiasts of the “Star Wars” saga are getting ready for another celebration on May 4th, as the day dedicated to this beloved franchise approaches. As per tradition, Disney has lined up an array of thrilling releases for the series, including fresh offerings in the LEGO “Star Wars” collection. LEGO has recently unveiled what fans can anticipate from May 4th this year, as they have once more prepared a new batch of sets to delight us.
First up is the latest offering in the Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) – the Firespray-Class Starship of Jango Fett. While we’ve had Boba Fett’s version of this ship, with its green and red color scheme, appear in UCS form earlier, this is the first time that Jango’s own starship gets a dedicated set since the 352-piece build back in 2002. This new set, boasting 2,970 pieces, surpasses its predecessor with its interior, movable entrance, and the famous seismic charge. As expected, minifigures of both Jango Fett and a younger Boba Fett are included in this premium collection.
In terms of the standard releases, a larger version of the Chopper (C1-10P) Astromech Droid joins the collection, alongside other characters like R2-D2 and C-3PO, as constructible figures. A 594-piece Rebel U-Wing Starfighter has been launched, perfect for season two of Star Wars: Andor, featuring minifigures of Cassian Andor, K-2SO, an Imperial Agent, and Dedra Meero. Stepping outside the usual line’s design, a new Brick-Built Star Wars Logo build replicates the famous movie title card using a 700-piece structure. Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle is the latest addition to the Midi-scale collection, and new helmets in the series include both Jango Fett’s and Kylo Ren’s helmets. Lastly, two BrickHeadz sets have been added to the range: a five-character cast from Revenge of the Sith, featuring heroes and villains, and Luke Skywalker in his Rebel Pilot uniform.
Some LEGO sets are now available for pre-order, with an official release scheduled on May 1st. During the first five days of this launch, certain gifts will be offered with purchases while supplies last. These gifts include items like Jango Fett’s Keychain Starship, a Kamino Training Facility set, a Mini-Build of the Millennium Falcon, and more. Prices for these sets range from $10 USD (for BrickHeadz Luke Skywalker in his Rebel Pilot outfit) to $300 USD (for Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship).
