Valerie Bertinelli has revealed who she wants to play her in a movie.

Previously known actress from One Day at a Time, who was married to the late rock legend Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007, has communicated to their son Wolfgang Van Halen that he is not authorized to undertake such a project while she is still alive.

Regarding the forthcoming Beatles films, Valerie expressed her hopes on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show: ‘I sincerely hope they won’t make one about Van Halen. Let me be deceased first. I warned Wolfie, ‘Let me be deceased first.”

Drew quipped: ‘Oh you know they’re gonna do one of Van Halen.’

Previously, during our chat, Valerie talked about the similarities people drew between herself and Yoko Ono. This Yoko Ono is often blamed by Beatles supporters for causing the band’s disbandment, while she was with her then-husband, Eddie.

She chuckled, saying, “Didn’t you realize I was the one who disbanded Van Halen? As if I held such power in a band.

I carried [the comparison] with pride, for Yoko is indeed a remarkable woman. She is an artist, and it was not her who disbanded the Beatles; rather, the Beatles themselves had their own internal conflicts.

Moreover, Valerie pointed out that even Van Halen faced their fair share of problems, emphasizing that her former spouse, who passed away from cancer in 2020, should not be held entirely accountable for any disagreements between them.

She said: ‘And it wasn’t all Ed’s fault, okay? I’m just gonna put that out there.

‘It seems everyone is quick to point the finger at Ed, yet he has no means of countering these accusations. In truth, it was far from being entirely his responsibility. He was more of a passive participant – primarily focused on composing and performing his music.’

On Thursday Valerie posted a sexy pinup photo from 1979 when she was only 19-years-old.

The image is startling because she has on no bottoms.

The dark-haired enchantress adopts a crouching position, dressed casually in a red-and-coral checkered shirt, beneath which she wears black lingerie and ankle-strap heels, all while flashing a radiant grin.

The timing couldn’t be better. This happens roughly a week following an embarrassing incident, where her former boyfriend, Mike Goodnough, publicly criticized her in a harsh Instagram post.

He criticized the well-known actress from One Day At A Time, who starred on the show, for seemingly subtle insults directed at him about six months following their separation.

In essence, Goodnothing clarified through a detailed explanation, he’s never used social media as an indirect means of communication with people he knows personally. Instead, he has always had direct methods available to get in touch with them.

Emphatically maintaining his position, he declared that he had no communication or engagement with Bertinelli through his posts, clarifying, “My posts are not directed at Valerie. I am not responding to what she posts.

Later on, Goodnough, who had been in a relationship with Bertinelli for 10 months, levied some harsh words against her, alleging that she had dragged him into the online spotlight.

In response to her persistent, unfair, and indirect insults towards me, it’s important to clarify that we are not engaged in conflict, he penned.

‘She keeps on firing non-stop. Valerie seems to be engaged in a battle against her past demons. All I do is dodge the shots that come my way, and this isn’t something fresh.’ He concluded with those words.

Previously in his straightforward statement, Goodnough seemed to hint critically at Bertinelli by stating, ‘Regrettably, over the past two months, Valerie seems to have found herself frequently engaging in a solitary game of tennis, believing an opponent is across the court from her.’

I can’t help but point out that on those occasions, she seems to twist my words, immersing herself deeply into each of my posts. She appears to find imagined slights within them and becomes enraged, reacting fiercely to matters that were never intended for nor concerning her.

The result, he claimed, was a false narrative of an ongoing feud. 

To those who follow us, our actions may give the appearance of taking steps forward and then stepping back. However, I want to clarify that we are not doing this; instead, we are moving forward consistently.

Despite the pointed remarks, Goodnough insisted he still cares for Bertinelli. 

He expressed, “I deeply care for Valerie. She holds a special place in my heart, one that remains constant. My heart’s desire is for her happiness, and knowing she is content brings me immense pleasure.

Reflecting on their past, he shared a bittersweet memory. 

One year ago today, I was with Valerie at the release of her book, which was undeniably one of the happiest times in my recent memory.

In her heartfelt acknowledgment, the actress paid homage to his publication, Hoarse Whisperings, and bestowed numerous accolades on him, remarking that his writing was strikingly magnificent and extolling his skills and personality.

As she gushed her praise, I too felt compelled to share our heartwarming moment – a monochrome snapshot of us, nestled close, me leaning comfortably on his shoulder. Additionally, I couldn’t help but include a snippet from his latest Substack newsletter, the title serving as a testament to his insightful thoughts.

Two weeks ago, she had mentioned that she had missed out on a good partner after her two unsuccessful marriages.
