Michael Clifford is completely smitten by his little one, to the point where he wishes for her to be known as a ‘family-legacy baby’.

5 Seconds of Summer guitarist, aged 29, who became a father to baby Lua in October, 2023, shared during the Nova program Smallzy’s Surgery on Saturday that having a daughter has significantly increased his “cool factor”.

He remarked that it was both an extraordinary delight and a profoundly tiring, rewarding, and emotionally taxing experience all in one.

When Smallzy noted that Michael’s daughter was indeed a ‘nepo baby’, referring to someone who leverages their parents’ reputation, success, and wealth, the musician responded with agreement, saying “Absolutely.

He went on to say that he wanted Lua to be ‘the craziest, best nepo baby on the planet’.

‘Anything she wants, anything I can facilitate, she’ll have,’ he shared. 

In a 2023 baby shower, Michael and Crystal struggled to hide their eagerness as they shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the event.

In July of that year, it was announced by a member of the 5 Seconds of Summer band and his stylish companion that they were going to have a daughter.

The expectant parents, along with their family, enjoyed a baby shower arranged by Lindsey Thomason Cook, the future mom’s cousin, at their residence on the east coast of Georgia.

At the extravagant gathering, Crystal drew attention with her radiant presence, wearing a beautiful floral Selkie dress that accentuated her noticeably growing baby bump.

She gathered her dark, flowing hair halfway into an elegant up-do at the back, using a pretty pink ribbon to hold it in place, while leaving some loose strands to frame her face beautifully.

Instead of going for an elaborate makeup style, she chose a radiant, natural-looking makeup. She added several gold rings on her fingers and wore a modest cross around her neck.

Crystal radiated happiness as she stood next to her husband, who appeared incredibly ecstatic about becoming a father-to-be.

To harmonize with his wife’s color scheme, the Australian musician decided to sport a white shirt and blue denims. On this joyous event, he opted to dye his hair a vibrant shade of pink.

The expectant pair undoubtedly knew how to throw a celebration, adorning their house with pastel balloons and signs inviting guests to Baby Clifford’s baby shower.

A stunning, fluffy white cake adorned with wildflowers sat next to an extensive array of bite-sized delicacies.

Visitors were encouraged to join in some friendly drinking activities, as we had arranged a juice and champagne station by the pool, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

In January 2022, the newlywed pair revealed, through sharing a sequence of photos on social media, that they would be welcoming their first child together in June 2023.
