Viewers of Celebrity Big Brother found themselves puzzled on Monday as Trisha Goddard nominated fellow American Patsy Palmer, even though both women were actually raised in London.
The TV personality, aged 67, hailing from Hackney, mentioned that she was originally from New York, whereas the actress from EastEnders, at 52 years old, claimed her roots were in Los Angeles. This difference in backgrounds appeared to make them unsuitable for each other.
Trisha broke down the contrast between New York and Los Angeles, stating that Patsy, originally from Bethnal Green, had a mindset more suited to Los Angeles, making her seemingly delicate for the living situation compared to Trisha, who was stronger due to her upbringing in the bustling Big Apple.
Originally from the East End, Patsy gained notoriety portraying Bianca Jackson on EastEnders. In 2014, she relocated to sunny Malibu, whereas another well-known TV personality, Trisha, shifted base to New York City in 2010.
