At the Coachella festival in the hot Indio desert, people saw Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi kissing.

People who saw Kendall Jenner, 30, and Jacob Elordi, 28, at Justin Bieber’s after-party Saturday night told the gossip site Deuxmoi that the pair were very affectionate, kissing and close together.

Despite rumors that they could be Hollywood’s next big couple, a source told the Daily Mail that their relationship is likely to be short-lived.

‘Nobody should hold their breath on this becoming the next celeb it couple,’ the source said.

‘Late at night at Coachella isn’t usually the place to start a new love.’ 

Elordi, the source added, just ‘isn’t her type.’ 

I’ve been following this closely, and while there’s definitely a spark between them right now, I don’t see it going anywhere long-term. A source told me it’s unlikely to last because he’s just so busy and, honestly, a little full of himself.

Jacob Elordi has been incredibly busy lately. He appeared in this year’s “Wuthering Heights” with Margot Robbie and received an Oscar nomination for his performance as the Creature in the upcoming 2025 film, “Frankenstein,” directed by Guillermo del Toro. Plus, he’s currently starring as Nate Jacobs in the newly premiered third season of “Euphoria.”

He’s been romantically connected to several well-known women, such as model Kaia Gerber and, more recently, Olivia Jade Giannulli, with whom he’s had an on-again, off-again relationship since 2021.

Kendall Jenner has been romantically connected to several well-known figures, including athletes Devin Booker and Ben Simmons, and musician Bad Bunny.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Jenner and Elordi’s representatives for comment. 

Just hours after dancing with Hailey Bieber during Justin Bieber’s concert, Jenner was spotted kissing Jacob Elordi. Elordi had also been at the show, watching from the crowd while wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.

It seems Elordi and Jenner have been friends for quite some time. He was a guest at her birthday party in 2022, and they were spotted deep in conversation at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty last month.

According to a source, the actor and the 818 founder are playfully close and don’t seem bothered by rumors of a kiss, but their connection isn’t anything serious.

Though Jenner’s sister Kylie might be disappointed.

According to our insider, the cosmetic mogul is apparently ‘rooting for something to happen.’ 

Although Kylie and Kendall see each other fairly often, they’ve grown apart a bit and don’t spend as much time together as they used to. However, if their partners shared similar careers, it could bring them closer.

Kylie and actor Timothée Chalamet, who has been nominated for an Academy Award, have been dating since April 2023. They’re frequently seen on dates in New York City and at red carpet events.

According to a source, Kylie is very supportive of a potential relationship between the two, as she’s often talked about how much fun they could have going on double dates together.
