The Elder Scrolls Online 2025 Content Kicks Off With ‘Seasons of the Worm Cult’ Part 1 This June

ZeniMax has revealed the future plans for “The Elder Scrolls Online,” which encompasses the upcoming two-part ‘Seasons of the Worm Cult’ quest. This will transport adventurers to the island Solstice, where they can explore a fresh zone that continues the main game storyline’s sequel.

Due to the development team no longer adhering to annual Chapter releases for ESO, players can anticipate more adaptability and a broader range of content. Some of this fresh content is scheduled to appear in the 2025 Content Pass. As per ZeniMax, this change will offer players “a novel method to gain access to the significant updates planned for ESO this year.

In 2025, the Content Pass for The Elder Scrolls Online will grant entry to Seasons of the Worm Cult’s chapters 1 and 2, along with two dungeon packs, and an in-game event called The Writhing Wall. The Seasons of the Worm Cult will be a significant zone and storyline for ESO in 2025, allowing you to face off against the terrifying cult, furthering the original narrative from the base game.

To clarify, you don’t necessarily need to have finished the main storyline of the game to enjoy it. In the upcoming Update 46, a new feature called “Hero’s Return” system is being introduced. This system aims to gently reacquaint players with Tamriel, providing a smooth transition back into the game. Completing this experience will yield several beneficial in-game rewards.

The first part of “The Elder Scrolls Online: Seasons of the Worm Cult” is scheduled to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on June 18th, after its initial release for PC on June 2nd. The second part will be released near the end of the year.
