Clash Royale Hero Tier List for Season 82 April 2026

Heroes have quickly become a key part of Clash Royale in recent seasons. Now that every deck includes a dedicated Hero slot, and you can choose between a Hero or an Evolution for that slot, you have more ways than ever to strengthen your deck.

Heroes have been a part of the game since Season 78 and are constantly being updated with new characters each season. There are already a lot of different heroes to choose from – 11 as of today – so figuring out which ones are the best is really important.

Choosing the wrong Hero can make your deck less effective, as each one has unique strengths. However, some Heroes are powerful enough to win games almost single-handedly thanks to their special abilities. This Clash Royale Hero Tier List will rank them, showing you which ones are the best choices.

Best Meta Hero picks in Clash Royale for Season 82

Currently, Hero Mega Minion and Hero Magic Archer seem to be the strongest units. Once they get going, they’re both difficult to counter due to their unique abilities. Mega Minion forces opponents to carefully consider their unit placement, while Magic Archer is versatile and effective in many situations. Both can quickly turn the tide of a battle with minimal preparation.

I still think Knight is a consistently reliable card – it fits well into almost any deck and performs effectively. Goblins and Wizard are similar; they’re both powerful and easy to use without needing to build your entire strategy around them.

The new Hero Balloon is a solid unit, offering good strength, but players still have effective strategies to counter it. Mini P.E.K.K.A. and Barbarian Barrel are decent choices, though they don’t feel essential to any deck, especially the Mini P.E.K.K.A. after the recent adjustments. While Musketeer, Ice Golem, and Giant can still be useful, they aren’t as versatile or impactful as some other options.
