Fans of Celebrity Big Brother found themselves puzzled, questioning whether they were overlooking something, as little-observed Jack P Shepherd received multiple surprising nominations during the latest broadcast. The reasons ranged from speculation about his strategic game plan, to accusations that he was using excessive amounts of aftershave.

In the house, it was Jack, aged 37 (Corrie’s star), and Michael Fabricant, aged 74 (former Conservative politician), who got the highest number of nominations from their housemates.

Jack was given an impressive total of eight nominations by Angellica Bell, Chesney Hawkes, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, Ella Rae Wise, JoJo Siwa, Patsy Palmer, and Trisha Goddard.

Chesney admitted that he sometimes wonders if they truly are friends, given that Jack tends to keep his distance.

The singer pondered: ‘I tend to be expressive, affectionate, it seems everyone around here shares similar traits.’

JoJo and Ella implied that the soap actor might be acting out of self-interest, and they also suggested he may have a premeditated strategy.

JoJo stated: ‘From what I’ve noticed about Jack here at home, Jack tends to do his own thing. If you’re searching for your water bottle, don’t expect him to help you find it. If you’re preparing food in the kitchen, he might pop in and brew himself a cup of tea and carry on.’
