Shocking Incident: Weezer Bassist’s Wife Accused of Attempted Murder After Police Shooting!

It’s reported that the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner was involved in a shootout with the police, claiming they were merely retaliating with gunfire when they accidentally hit her in the shoulder.

51-year-old Jillian Lauren-Shriner, who tied the knot with the bassist in 2005, has been accused of attempting to commit murder following a peculiar event that occurred near their residence in Eagle Rock on Tuesday.

According to Jennifer Forkish, our examination uncovered various pieces of proof like discarded ammunition casings and videos demonstrating that she persistently disregarded police instructions to drop her weapon and instead fired at LAPD officers. She verified this information to PEOPLE.

‘She was subsequently booked for attempted murder of a peace officer.’

According to the magazine’s recording, it appears that an officer may have said over the radio, ‘She seems to be holding a firearm.’

The police officer is reported to have informed the dispatcher that they intend to seek a woman suspected of using a deadly weapon against an officer in an assault case.

In the wake of the incident, an officer could be overheard asking for a reply concerning a woman, who was a shooting victim and a suspect, dressed in a long-sleeved gray top and black trousers, and carrying a firearm.

Afterward, Lauren-Shriner was transported to a nearby hospital due to injuries that were not fatal. Meanwhile, an absence warrant was issued for her arrest on the charge of attempted murder.

Previously, authorities stated that the author was involved in a police chase following a car accident where the driver escaped, as he is said to have entered another person’s property, which is adjacent to his own.

A man, whose identity remains unknown, reportedly departed from the accident site on the 134 Freeway in the company of two other individuals approximately at 3pm.

When two helpful individuals pursued him, the suspect chose to elude police by shedding his clothes down to just his underwear and leaping into a nearby swimming pool owned by a resident of Eagle Rock.

He also allegedly watered some plants in a bizarre attempt to blend in with the neighborhood.

However, when he neared the Shriner’s residence, it is claimed by authorities that Lauren-Shriner chose to venture into her backyard armed with a firearm.

According to reports, the officers repeatedly told her to let go of the firearm, but she defied their orders and aimed it at them instead. Subsequently, she was hit by gunfire from the police in the shoulder.

At that moment, Lauren quickly darted back into her home, only to come out again shortly after, this time accompanied by her babysitter.

In a similar manner, they both had their hands up in the air while officers instructed them to move down the driveway. Afterward, they were peacefully apprehended there without any further disturbance.

Following the commotion, I found myself ardently explaining to the officers that I was merely safeguarding my humble abode from a suspicious character who seemed to be dashing through our community, as reported by CBS News. Luckily, that individual was apprehended, issued a citation, and later released.

Authorities clarified that Lauren-Shriner was not involved in the initial three-car accident, resulting in a woman suffering moderate injuries.

Or:

The officials stated clearly that Lauren-Shriner was not connected to the original multi-vehicle collision, causing a woman to sustain moderate wounds.

During their investigation, they found a nine-millimeter handgun from Lauren-Shriner’s residence.

She has since posted a $1 million bond and was released from jail.

She hasn’t shown up in court yet, and it’s unclear if she has retained a lawyer to represent her.

On Thursday, as the Weezer bassist was spotted taking their dogs out for a walk near their residence in Los Angeles, he merely responded to queries about his wife’s wellbeing by saying she’s doing fine, and expressed gratitude towards a journalist from the New York Post for showing concern.

59-year-old Shriner opted not to disclose more information regarding his spouse, leaving the circumstances surrounding the startling event uncertain, as to whether or not he played a part in it.

Despite appearing unfazed about any potential legal issues potentially confining him, he casually mentioned “See you at Coachella” to the reporter, subtly promoting the band’s forthcoming performance at the renowned California music festival.

Meanwhile, police say two other suspects involved in the multi-car crash remain at large.
