Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Welcome To Wrexham returns: Season 4 release date confirmed

The fourth season of “Welcome to Wrexham” has been officially announced, with its premiere set for next month.

This sports documentary focuses on Ryan Reynolds from Deadpool and Rob McElhenney of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as they manage Wrexham AFC, the third-oldest professional football team globally.

The show, too, illustrates the aspirations and desires of the locals from Wrexham, North Wales, as they cheer on their ancient football team.

In the United States, the new season will debut on FX on May 15th. For fans in the UK, they can start watching it a day later, on Disney+, as the platform plans to release the first two episodes of the latest installment on May 16th.

These new episodes are rumored to offer fans an unparalleled glimpse into the everyday life of Wrexham AFC. They will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the team on the field, within their locker room, and during one of their most significant matches to date.

Having secured a spot in League One after two decades, the men’s team has started moving upwards with ambitions set on reaching the Premier League.

Due to the setbacks caused by the injuries among the team’s players, fans are urging Reynolds and McElhenney to recruit fresh talent.

Meanwhile, the women’s team has to face fierce competition and play other talented teams.

Finally, season four is set to follow Humphrey Ker’s marathon training.

The Executive Director at Wrexham AFC is taking on the challenge of running a marathon (26.2 miles) to raise money for a charitable cause.

Starting from May 15 in the United States, you can catch Wrexham season four on FX. And for our friends across the pond in the UK, the series will be available to stream on Disney+ from May 16.
