The Seoul-based brand XLIM, known for its distinctive storytelling approach and blend of clothing styles, is gaining more attention in South Korea’s streetwear community. Not only does this innovative team release comprehensive collections labeled as “Episodes,” but they also create additional collections for each main one called “Synopses.” For the SS25 Episode 7, XLIM has revealed a diverse Synopsis that expands upon the technical design style of their line using a compact selection of various items.
Kicking off our description is a spacious, reversible tote bag boasting a durable shell made from smooth fabric and adjustable leather handles. It comes in an eye-catching electric blue with cream straps, but also offers a sleek black monochrome version. The design can be flipped to showcase a textured denim exterior or a matte inner surface. To add a touch of adventure, there’s a black belt styled like climbing gear, featuring chrome hardware and reinforced accents.
Moving on to fresh product categories, XLIM introduces a unique home item. The vase is made of transparent glass and bears the XLIM logo. It’s accompanied by repurposed fabric scraps that resemble dried foliage. To complete the collection, there’s a set of four multi-colored pens – electric blue and neon yellow among them – adding a splash of stationery charm.
In the latest edition of TopMob Magazine, titled “The Wavelength Issue,” an interview with Dohee Kim, founder of XLIM, is featured. This issue is available for purchase online now. During this interview, Dohee shares insights into the design philosophy that underpins XLIM’s approach to creating new collections and plans for expanding the brand’s product range by providing additional narratives.
