The Alters Gets a June Release Date and New Trailer
11 Bit Studios has revealed that the sci-fi base-building survival game titled “The Alters” is set to release in June.
In the spirit of the heart-wrenching war story, “This War of Mine”, the game titled “The Alters” places you in the shoes of Jan Dolski, a lone survivor who finds himself stranded on an unfriendly planet with a threatening sunrise. His only hope for survival is to generate ‘alters’ – alternate personas crafted from the choices he didn’t make.
Each of Jan’s alternate identities possesses distinct personalities, abilities, and recollections, associated with different life paths he might have chosen. Yet, they also carry their individual burdens, disputes, and uncertainties. Consequently, managing the mission encompasses navigating your alters, maintaining the operation’s mobile headquarters, making urgent decisions, and forging connections.
As I traverse this alien world, I’ll stumble upon perilous aberrations that could spell my doom in a heartbeat or inflict radiation wounds. Some require unique equipment to unearth, while others have the power to unravel time and space itself – best to steer clear of those!
On June 13th, The Alters will debut its unique blend of emotional narratives, base-building survival, and exploration to players on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. This game is also accessible day one through Game Pass.
