Nelson Mandela’s Heartwarming Message to Trisha’s Baby!
On the latest episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Trisha Goddard reminisced about the words Nelson Mandela spoke to her daughter when they met, which she had previously shared in conversation.
Currently, the speaker is a mother to Madison, aged 35, and Billie, who is 32 years old. These two daughters are from her initial marriage to an Australian television producer named Mark Greive.
In a conversation with Nelson, Trisha shared that she had accompanied Billie, who was three months old at the time, to the meeting.
While conversing with her fellow actors, she shared: “I collaborated with Nelson Mandela following his prison release, which was approximately in the year 1989.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I found myself spending quality moments with this individual, but there were times when my attention was divided due to my role as a new mother, nursing my little one. Throughout these interactions, I couldn’t help but express my apologies for any distractions caused during our conversations.
‘He hadn’t heard a baby cry or giggle in 28 years so he used to grab Billie and sing to her.’

Trisha went on to say: “Ultimately, he penned a letter addressed to our daughter who was nearly three months old, stating that she embodies the blend of black and white, symbolizing unity among people.
‘As more people unite, there may come a time when it becomes difficult to discern someone’s origin, potentially leading us towards a period of harmony.’
For 18 out of his initial 27 years, Nelson Mandela endured imprisonment under harsh and unacceptable circumstances at the notorious Robben Island penitentiary, renowned for its severe punishment and deplorable living standards.
On the 20th of April, 1964, he stood trial for a potential death sentence, where he made his renowned “Speech from the Dock.” In conclusion, he declared, “I’ve battled against white oppression, and I’ve fought against black tyranny.
I deeply value the concept of a democratic, open-minded society where everyone coexists peacefully, enjoying equal chances for success.
He aspired to embody and accomplish this principle throughout his life. If necessary, he was willing to give up his own life in pursuit of this goal, reflecting his lifelong commitment to equal rights.
After enduring years of wrongful imprisonment and receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, Nelson Mandela cast his first vote in 1994, and in the same year, he was elected as the first democratically chosen President of South Africa.
In 2013, I bid farewell to the world at the ripe age of 95, following a prolonged stay in a hospital due to complications from a lingering lung infection.

Earlier, it came out that Billie, Trista’s daughter, was the one who encouraged her to participate on Celebrity Big Brother, even though she had apparently declined the opportunity several times before.
The television figure, who announced her cancer’s recurrence after initially battling it in 2008, openly confessed that despite numerous invitations throughout the years, she never seriously considered participating in the program, expressing no genuine interest.
However, a simple conversation with her oldest daughter Billie, 35, changed everything.
In response to your query, let me share an instance from my life. Recently, I found myself in a situation where I was approached and expressed, “Well, it seems the organizers of Big Brother have come calling once again!” To my eldest daughter, I shared this news.
She mentioned, “Mom, during your cancer journey, you’ve developed a strong interest in the terminology related to it.
The disjointed nature of the services, coupled with how the media presents it, the spread of inaccurate information, your use of Instagram to share and help others, they reciprocate by supporting you… My daughter commented that I have a variety of topics I am deeply invested in.
She commented, “Mom, this is a chance for others to witness what you’ve been discussing, not just hear your words. It’s important to note that, as stated by MacMillan, by December, approximately 3.4 million individuals in the UK will be living with cancer – a visual representation of what we’re discussing.
Approximately six million individuals currently manage a long-term health condition, yet the majority of them are employed rather than receiving welfare benefits.
Many individuals choose to conceal this fact as they believe it may negatively impact their career prospects, possibly leading to loss of employment. This concern is indeed quite valid.
However, for the countless individuals who stand to gain significantly from seamless service integration, and for environments enriched by clearer communication, I wholeheartedly agreed.

In 2010, the star moved to the U.S., disclosed that her cancer had persisted rather tragically, and admitted that hiding it had grown increasingly heavy on her shoulders.
But, while she was ‘nervous’ about revealing the cancer’s re-emergence, ‘it needed to be done’.
She received the terminal diagnosis 20 months ago.
This mother of two is diagnosed with a type of breast cancer that has metastasized, or spread from the original site (breast) to other areas of her body. Treatment options are available, however, remission or a full cure is not currently possible.
