Jacob Elordi Shocks in Protest Tee at Movie Screening, Takes Stand Against Salmon Industry
At the Melbourne premiere of The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Jacob Elordi was thinking deeply about an important issue.
The popular actor, aged 27, made an appearance at Palace Cinema Como’s red carpet event on a Wednesday, promoting his latest television venture and expressing criticism towards the salmon-fishing industry in Tasmania.
Jacob donned a NOFF shirt, which is produced by Neighbors of Fish Farming, featuring the statement “Eating Salmon? You’re Killing Tasmania” on the front.

A Tasmanian writer, responsible for crafting a novel recently adapted into Jacob’s mini-series, has also penned another book titled “Toxic: Unveiling the Decaying Core of the Tasmanian Salmon Industry.
The eye-catching fashion choices are drawing attention to the salmon farming industry in Tasmania, which is facing criticism for its potential environmentally harmful activities and high mortality rates of salmon.
Additionally, at the Melbourne showing were Olivia DeJonge, known for her role as Priscilla Presley in “Elvis,” Shaun Grant of “Penguin Bloom,” and Essie Davis from “The Babadook.” These actors join Elordi in the Amazon Prime mini-series.
On a Wednesday, Jacob was seen accompanied by his family at Sydney Airport, en route to an extravagant gathering filled with celebrities.
With an air of casual elegance, the Saltburn star sauntered through the airport, accompanied by a stylish mother who matched his impeccable fashion sense.
On Monday, Jacob went to Sydney for the debut screening of The Narrow Road to the Deep North, an event that he had the pleasure of attending.
Instead of the formal attire he could have chosen, Jacob selected a relaxed, cozy outfit, donning a $1,104 track jacket from Willy Chavarria, paired with black trousers and white athletic shoes.
He adorned the outfit with an expensive set of $2,750 Bang & Olufsen headphones, a $8,530 Bottega Veneta travel case, and tinted sunglasses in a sunny shade.
She too followed the latest fashion trends, sporting a Bottega Veneta handbag worth $13,690, along with a top in muted shades, dark denim jeans, and comfortable slip-on shoes.
In one picture, Jacob could be seen gleaming lovingly at his mother, who he towers over in height.
He then pulled in his mum for a hug as they made their way through the busy airport.
The observation was made following Jacob’s praise for Carina Mirabile’s stylish choices at the Sydney premiere of Amazon Prime’s latest miniseries, “The Narrow Road to the Deep North”.
Even though she was the main attraction at the event, the Euphoria star found herself mesmerized by Carina’s breathtaking red dress.
As Jacob climbed the cinema steps, he complimented the reality star on her lovely dress, to which she responded with a smile from her seat.
The attractive brunette wore a dress with an off-the-shoulder style, boasting a narrowed midriff, a long tail, intricate embellishments, and a low-cut front that accentuated her physique beautifully.

On the red carpet, the reality TV personality seemed delighted, frequently striking poses and flashing smiles at passersby.
Meanwhile, Jacob decided to switch up his signature look at the event, by debuting a moustache.
At the glamorous gathering, the actor proudly displayed his well-groomed beard while donning a navy jacket with a collar and high-waisted pants that complemented it.
He added a white vest and completed the outfit with matching loafers.
In the photoshoot, the actor from The Kissing Booth adorned a substantial golden necklace and tiny gold hoop earrings in both ears, displaying his full, rich-brown hair.
