In an interview with DailyMail.com, the actress from “Traitors” shared insights about collaborating with her true friend RIP Youth, whose genuine name is James Maas, on their project titled ‘Remedy’.

However, it required some persuasion for Glanville to eventually agree when it came to his BFF demonstrating her rapping abilities on the track ‘Remedy’.

Over the past two years, Glanville has struggled with an enigmatic skin ailment, resulting in noticeable changes to her facial features.

In 2023, she was admitted to the hospital due to angioedema, a situation where the deeper skin layers swell as a result of excessive fluid accumulation, which is caused by stress.

Since then, Glanville has experienced issues like persistent swelling, uncomfortable lump formation, and an unpleasant, oil-like discharge that has been eroding her teeth continuously.

She mentioned, ‘What a wonderful chance it was, but the last two years have been quite challenging.’ She explained, ‘I tended to be on my own during those times, and James understood. He urged me, saying, “You must seize this moment,” and I felt compelled to do it for him.’

“Among all, James was one of the few who persistently didn’t give me space. In retrospect, I’m grateful for this situation since it provided me with a person to keep me on track. It offered a positive influence that I required.

When it came time to record the song, Maas explained that it was actually a ‘very quick process.’

2022 marked the initial studio session for Glanville, where she laid down her debut track, “Life of a Housewife.

It seems that the most delightful aspect of the whole event for Glanville was gaining the acceptance from her two sons, Mason (age 21) and Jake (age 17), whom she had with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian.

In fact, her grown boys were ‘impressed’ when they first listened to ‘Remedy’.

As I pondered over the idea of revealing it, I found myself filled with apprehension, knowing full well that my children, much like their mother, would offer their candid opinions without mincing words.

As I found myself cruising down the road with my youngest son, Jake, a melodious tune filled our vehicle. Upon hearing it, young Jake turned to me and expressed that he found the track particularly infectious, using his own words.

She revealed, ‘I cried in that moment.’

Maas suggested that they might work together again in the future, and Glanville expressed openness to pursuing a joint musical venture.

However, she wanted to wait and see how the fans reacted to ‘Remedy’ first.

She emphasized, “What I truly desire is to enjoy myself. It’s crucial, as it’s something I haven’t had much of during the last two years.

‘This was so enjoyable and if it continues to go well, of course we’ll do more.’
