Kerry Katona Steps Into Ring With Ricky Hatton To Promote Controversial CBD Oil Brand

On Tuesday, Kerry Katona stepped into the boxing ring for a friendly sparring match with ex-pro boxer Ricky Hatton. The purpose of this event was to support and publicize her friend Anthony Fowler’s contentious CBD oil product.

44-year-old Atomic Kitten star, much like her close friend and television personality Katie Price, endorsed a product that was created by a former Olympic boxer named Anthony, who is 34 years old.

Last year, Anthony disclosed that his two-year-old daughter Roma had been battling a tumor. He also shared that he opted to use CBD oil as an alternative treatment instead of pursuing chemotherapy for her.

This week, it was mentioned that Katie asserted Anthony’s daughter experienced a remission, as the family opted against medical treatment and instead relied on CBD oil, although there’s no confirmed proof that CBD oil can eradicate cancer.

In a heartfelt post on X, she shared that she had an intense conversation with Srena Stregapede and Anthony Fowler regarding their two-year-old daughter who was battling a tumor in her leg. Remarkably, they opted against hospital treatment and managed to heal her at home. This is simply astounding, she noted.

In her message, she shared information on Supreme CBD and its effectiveness in managing conditions like fibromyalgia, arthritis, anxiety/depression, aches/pains, and insomnia. She then included a promotional code for which she would receive commission.

The proposal ignited significant controversy, with many expressing strong criticism towards the duo due to their perceived negligence in claiming that CBD could reduce tumors and distaste for utilizing Rona’s cancer for promotional purposes.

It’s not advisable to claim that CBD can significantly shrink a tumor of that kind. However, it is crucial to note that no trustworthy CBD supplier would endorse such claims, as it’s against the law to do so.

In addition to Katie’s blog post about X, she also posted a video endorsing CBD, stating: “There’s been a lot of talk about CBD recently. Initially, I was hesitant, thinking things like ‘Uh-oh!’ But now, I can confirm that it’s safe and not addictive, unlike some drugs.

Consequently, the Mayo Clinic states that using CBD may have certain potential drawbacks, including dry mouth, diarrhea, decreased appetite, drowsiness, and feelings of exhaustion.

In a recent turn of events, Anthony, a relative of Robbie Fowler, took to social media by reposting Katie’s update and addressing criticism that followed. He posted an image claiming it demonstrated the decrease in his daughter’s tumour size from initially measuring 37.1mm in diameter to now being 21.2mm.

‘We managed to reduce our daughter’s tumor by half without any pharmaceutical intervention, which you might call an amazing feat. Next week we’re visiting Alder Hey for the final scan, and I’m confident that it will be completely gone.’

He also mentioned that while I didn’t claim it was the sole cause (healing), it provided her significant relief from pain.

However, the audience found it amusing that the CBD ambassador made such a claim, given his past remarks about using CBD oil for his daughter’s tumor.

A representative from a CBD company shared some insights on their high-quality CBD products, mentioning an inspiring story of his daughter’s diminished tumor, albeit emphasizing that he does not claim the CBD was solely responsible for the improvement. The quality and composition of these items are often unverified, as per the NHS website. This means they could possibly be illegal and potentially hazardous to our health.
