Hit comedy Colin from Accounts has been renewed for a third season.
The Australian series, boasting a perfect 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its initial two seasons, last graced our screens in the year 2024. Undoubtedly, viewers are eagerly awaiting additional episodes.
The confirmation is in: the show is set for another appearance, and Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall can’t help but express their joy about it in a shared announcement.
I can hardly contain my enthusiasm as I share this news: Season Three of our beloved show is on its way! Frankly, the cliffhanger at the end of Season Two left us with no choice but to continue the story, and I’m thrilled we get to do so! Rest assured, we won’t leave you hanging like that again. We promise a satisfying conclusion this time around.
The story unfolds around two individuals residing in Sydney, who first cross paths following an unexpected encounter โ a car accident involving a canine companion they nickname “Colin,” a colleague from accounting.

The performance has received massive praise, as “The Observer” described it as “compact, clever, humorous, mischievous, and peculiar,” while “Mashable” commented that it was “repeatedly amusing, occasionally emotional, and always enjoyable to observe, featuring characters you sometimes scoff at but ultimately support.
TVLine describes it as an outstanding representation of romantic comedy, brimming with authentic laughter, manageable tension, and captivating portrayals by stars and co-creators Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer.

Last year, prior to hearing about a potential third season, Dyer and Brammall had voiced optimism that it might get approved.
The call is still pending, but we remain optimistically hopeful. Moreover, the finale of season 2 has been structured in a way that viewers might find it frustrating! Dyer shared this with What to Watch, mentioning that they’ve managed to push the network towards making decisions slightly earlier.
“Yeah, we certainly leave it open for a third,” added Brammall.
Colin’s series can be streamed on Binge in Australia, Paramount+ in the United States, while on BBC Two in the UK. The entire show is also accessible on BBC iPlayer.
