Double Wedding? Rhi & Jeff Laugh Off Engagement Rumors!

Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, stars from the show Married At First Sight, have addressed speculations about a possible joint wedding ceremony following the engagement of Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice recently.

On Tuesday, the television personalities had a chat with Yahoo Lifestyle about their relationship, hinting if there might be a wedding in the near future since Clint had given Jacqui an engagement ring.

At a MAFS reunion gathering in Sydney on a Sunday, Clint knelt before an audience of about 150 people and proposed using a specially designed ring estimated to be valued at $30,000.

Rhi, aged 34, and Jeff, aged 40, made it clear that they had no immediate plans to marry, and were not motivated by the need to imitate a contentious pair who began their relationship following the conclusion of their experiment last year.

‘We’re on a great path, and when it happens, it happens,’ Rhi said.

When queried about the possibility of sharing a double wedding with Jacqui, 30, and Clint, 43, the duo broke out in laughter.

‘Oh my gosh, I’d rather pluck my nostril hairs out one by one,’ Rhi quipped.

Jeff chimed in with the sentiment, saying that he and his beau didn’t want a ‘sponsored wedding’.

He mentioned, acknowledging Jacqui and Clint’s actions, that there would be an overwhelming number of products and businesses being tagged on Instagram due to the practice of them tagging the jeweler who made their engagement rings.

Rhi and Jeff continued to show their affection for each other, as they joined the crowd at Daily Mail Australia’s private MAFS reunion gathering held in Sydney on a Sunday evening.

For much of the evening, the pair remained close, intertwining their fingers and gazing deep into one another’s eyes during their meal.

‘I am going to be the flower girl,’ Beth said.

Rhi stated, “I haven’t made any wedding plans as of now. However, if there were a wedding, I would surely extend invitations to all my friends from MAFS. I’ve forged some wonderful friendships here, indeed.

Both Rhi and Jeff opted for an almost wedding-style attire at the soiree.

Account Manager Rhiannon dazzled in a gleaming silver, strapless dress that gracefully highlighted her remarkable silhouette.

Instead of using “high glam,” she chose an elegant hairstyle and makeup look. Her dark hair was styled into voluminous curls, while her makeup was done with a warm, bronze palette.

Simultaneously, electrician Jeff sported a stylish cream suit, paired with an open collar shirt, and maintained a well-groomed beard.

Last week, the loving pair who touched everyone with their heartwarming Final Vows, shared updates about the future of their flourishing relationship while also putting an end to speculation surrounding a possible engagement.

To Daily Mail Australia, the couple based in Melbourne openly shared that they had no second thoughts about carrying on their relationship past the experimental phase, despite the controversy surrounding it.

Rhi responded, “Absolutely, there was no need for second thoughts. It turned out to be a simple decision, fortunately.

Jeff mentioned: “I’m generally an optimistic individual, so I entered the situation with the hope that it would turn out that way and truly believing it would work in my favor. Fortunately, it did.

The beloved pair, with a past that’s well-known, attributed their triumph to emotional maturity, open dialogue, and prioritizing their bond over external drama.

In any relationship, effective communication and emotional maturity are essential, and these are areas where Jeff and I excelled during our time together, Rhi clarified.

Jeff noted that the success often depends on whom you are paired with. Although some individuals may seem ideal partners based on their profiles, reality can sometimes tell a different story. In our situation, we turned out to be an excellent match both on paper and in actuality.
