Dan Shocked as Ella Flirts on Big Brother After Split

It is said that Dan Edgar from TOWIE was taken aback, as he hadn’t expected it, when his former girlfriend Ella Rae Wise appeared on Celebrity Big Brother for the first time on Monday evening – following their unexpected separation.

As the television show played, viewers discovered that the reality TV pair had decided to end their relationship following a series of ups and downs.

During her initial video segment, the recently single Ella, aged 24, playfully commented: “I might as well sail on air with a loaf of bread. I can charm just about anything! I’m even flirting shamelessly with this camera.

Friends have informed The Sun that Dan felt upset by her remarks, as he thought their split was friendly and amicable.

According to a source, they continued conversing even after their significant argument on Wednesday, as they mutually acknowledged that things weren’t functioning well between them.

However, their interaction remained cordial. They exchanged casual conversation like usual, occasionally messaging back and forth, and had a chat on Sunday, right before she entered lockdown.

However, her remarks last night caught him off guard, specifically when she mentioned his frequent flirting behavior isn’t very pleasant.

Representatives for Dan and Ella have been contacted by TopMob for comment. 

On a Monday, Ella officially ended her relationship, which had lasted for 18 months with her co-star. She then entered the Big Brother house unattached, having announced their separation.

In an interview with The Sun, the reality star explained that they couldn’t continue their relationship due to a difference in their intimate dynamics, which was thriving.

She expressed her feelings by saying, “We aren’t seeing each other now – and I must admit, it’s extremely difficult that we’re apart; we parted ways a week back.

Ella maintained that the breakup wasn’t caused by her joining the Celebrity Big Brother house, even though it was recently reported that she had promised Dan she wouldn’t flirt with Chris Hughes, another Love Islander and co-housemate.

She further mentioned that although Dan is charming, there seemed to be a certain ‘lack’ or ‘gap’ in their connection, and she didn’t wish to squander our precious moments together unnecessarily.

The surprise announcement occurred only a few days following her apparent pledge to Dan that she would refrain from flirting with Chris within the Big Brother house.

Despite Ella’s request, The Sun hinted that the producers might entertain different thoughts and could potentially team the pair together for tasks, possibly broadcasting any private conversations they may have.

Dan and Ella’s romantic journey began the previous year when they were on a cast excursion to Bali. However, they later separated, sparking speculation that their relationship was staged.

However the couple then reconciled with their relationship being documented on the ITVbe show.  

It was said that the makers of Celebrity Big Brother had a strong interest in signing up Ella, who previously dated Pete Wicks, as part of the newest group of contestants.

They are hoping she might spill the beans on some of her other famous exes.
